Chris Clark (Owner of Clark Chimney and Masonry incorrectly and very dangerously installed a chimney through my roof. The pipe was literally touching OSB wood creating a huge risk of fire. The day after installation the hole he cut through my roof started leaking. When I noticed the leak he sent two completely unqualified individuals to the leak. They both admitted they have never done a chimney installation before. They attempted to fix the leaks but it continued to leak the next day. I needed to hire a completely different contractor to demo Chris's work and correctly install the chimney. Chris has agreed in writing to pay me back $1,000 over the course of 6 1/2 months, I never agreed to these terms. Chris owes me $6,300. The leaking roof is one issue, but Chris literally installed my chimney in a way that could have burnt my entire property down. When I told him my concern, he told me I had nothing to worry about. Chris's story changes every time I speak with him. Liar.

He left our living room a mess with dust over all the place.

Chris Clarke, owner first kept a very quick appointment to give me a quote for a chimney cleaning, during which he found that my then 5-year old à ¢à  à  stainless steel chimney liner had collapsed. While removing that liner to install a proper liner, he found and showed me that the one he took out was partially shredded and the whole liner could be easily collapsed. Because of his expertise and diligence we now have a liner and chimney thatà ¢à  à  s safe, effective and efficient. There were multiple frustrating times as Chris tried and eventually succeeded in working with the company that installed the wood stove and cheap, defective - shredded, collapsing liner. His diplomacy skills in addition to his chimney perfectionism and very reasonable prices bring him to she top of the list of chimney sweeps for our home.

Our two chimney crowns were in desperate need of repair. I heard from Chris in less than a day. He scheduled an appointment and was here when he said he would be with texts to update arrival time. His quote was very fair. The next day his workman came and also updated me on arrival time. They were very professional and did everything that was asked for. Chris was very communicative through this process. If you are looking for a professional, honest business man then Clark Chimney and Masonry would be a great choice.
