BOOT ROAD VETERINARY CLINIC

I've been using Dr. DiGrigorio ever since I aquired my Weimaraner as a puppy, almost three years ago. Even though he's some distance from my house (14 miles) he also specializes in birds and other exotic animals. Since I also own several parrots, he's my go to person for all my vet needs.
When I noticed a gash in my lovebird's foot, I tried treating it myself with over the counter antibiotics. After a week or so, the little guy didn't seem to be responding so it was time to see Dr. Bob. He surmised that the gash was probably a bite from another bird either during play or from anger. Regardless, infections are serious and Dr. Bob started to treat the problem as aggressively as possible. Each week I bought the bird back for follow up exams and he was improving little by little. Still, the infection was present so we went through just about every medication that would clear things up. Finally, the bird began to heal and ultimately went on to a full recovery. Prior to the love bird, Dr. Bob cleared up a respiratory problem that another parrot had which only took one visit.
My dog, Max, absolutely LOVES to see Dr. Bob! Once he knows he's going there, his tail almost wags completely off his body! Dr. Bob is caring, compassionate, and has an exceptional way with animals. He'll get on the floor with the dog and actually play with him, something the dog loves to do! So, it's not actually a vet visit, but a fun playtime for him.
