Bartlett Tree Experts has been providing scientific tree care since 1907. A 3rd generation, family owned business, our mission is the maintenance and care of the health and beauty of trees and shrubs. We are an international organization, with offices in Canada, England and Ireland. Our Research Laboratories advises us about the latest technological advances in arboriculture and assists our arborists with training updates. The laboratory networks with professionals at universities, government agencies, and allied industry groups. This enables us to provide state-of-the art procedures and techniques to our clients. Our arborists consult with other professionals for common projects and community interests. Our unique position in the green industry helps us further arboriculture as a science and a profession. We believe in providing preventive property maintenance to avoid landscape problems or treat them proactively rather than using “reactive” maintenance methods that are driven by situations and events. They're arborists. They come and check our trees and bushes for insects, anything that's chewing on our plants and trees. They were out spraying our bushes. They checked soil for ph balance and put fertilizer there if it needs it, spray our bushes and trees for pests. We've been using them for a couple years now. They're really professional, they know their business. Their arborists and they know everything about the bushes and trees they're taking care of for you. They're very pleasant and responsive to our needs.

Harvey conducted a very thorough analysis of the health and positioning of all of the trees on our property. The work was done in 3 separate jobs, and it was all done as planned and with all debris removed so the worksite looked clean afterwards. We are satisfied and would hire them again.

Konstanze sent me spring recommendations after they did some work last year. I noticed they had not pruned one of the trees away from the wires and realized it hadn't exactly been in the proposal. Nevertheless when i reached out they promptly returned to prune the additional branches at no additional cost.

They are pricey but good. They just have great knowledge of trees and they do a good job. They have saved a couple of trees that looked bad.

We are very pleased with the service. All times were communicated well. Crew arrived on time, did the work and cleaned up nicely. We really liked that we had direct access to our Local Manager and didn't have to go through any messaging service to contact Mark. Mark is great - very professional, offered assistance above and beyond (identified poison ivy around our property for us and gave us advice on how to remove it), and he is very responsive. We are very pleased with our experience and will continue to work with them going forward.

Excellent and timely work. They review the conditions of our trees/shrubs and leave us detailed information after each review of the property with applicable treatments that they have applied and any recommendations needed for our garden to continue to be healthy. They also selectively prune a large hedge of European hornbeams along our driveway. Their work is meticulously conducted.

They were pretty good about coordinating with our schedules. They sent a representative out to get a feel for what we wanted out of the appointment. They followed up after the job was complete to make sure I was satisfied with the work.

They come by first to assess everything in our yard and they tell you what needs to be done as well as the costs. There are never any surprises and they lay everything out for you to see. I am very satisfied with what they do and they clean up well after themselves. Scheduling goes well and they are always readily available.

Everything was done professionally and I thought scheduling went well. They came out very quickly and treated the tree properly and did not leave any mess behind. After they left it rained the next morning so they called me to let me know they wanted to come out to put on the treatment due to the weather at no additional charge.

I have used Barlett Tree Service many times over the past 20 years. The company is expensive but Harvery Lerman is a trained arborist and extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. His workers have always been polite and accomodating. It is an excellent company and it has been worth it to pay a premium price for its work.

I was very pleased, as always. Bartlett workers are experts at what they do. I put my trust in their suggestions. and have not been disappointed. I have had Bartlett evaluate and treat disease on trees and shrubs, as well as prune trees. Their workers are friendly and professional. I worked at a landscape/garden center for eight years and have some knowledge of and a great interest in my yard. Gardening is a hobby, and I would only use the services of a professional that I can trust.

As always, any problems that were encountered were dealt with that day and documented in a report left for us by the technician. We have had Bartlett work on the last 2 houses we owned, and this one we are in now. It has been close to 30 years and we have always been pleased. If there is ever a problem at a time other than during Monitoring visits, I just call and they are here to check it out. I have recommended them to several people over the years and I have never heard of any of them being disappointed. My husband and I will always use and recommend them.

Frist did not show up when they said they would. Damaged the lawn and several irrigation system sprinkler heads. Did not repair damage as promised. Had to come back three times to reshape Bradford Pear tree and still did not leave it looking as promised. Really butchered the tree. Found Site Manager to be unresponsive. Finally had to talk to corporate office to tell them I was subtracting $300 from bill for all the damage done to lawn and sprinkler system.

I have used Bartlett twice. Once to remove dead trees and oncve to remove damaged branches. We have a very old willow tree in our yard. They are brittle trees and many large branches came down during a storm. Bartlett removed the branches and groomed the remaining tree to save it while keeping us safe as well.
The price seems a little high, but I cannot complain at all about the service or quality of work.

The crew and supervisor David Helliar showed up right a 8am.
My wife had worked a night shift, they kindly held off using the chain saw and chipper until late in the day. They worked until almost 7 cleaning up. All debris carted away.
Everything looks great. And no tree damage from when Hurricane Sandy came through
Several other neighbors used competing services and there were a couple of real hack jobs that will require several years to look good again.
