Welding
As the final recipient of the product the experience was not good. The initial product looked ok with the exception of some pin hole type looking rust under the railing cap. I asked the owner John about the rust and he said that it was normal and not a problem. As you can see from the sampling of pictures that was not the case. The entire top railing has rusted and chipped of within 2 years of fabrication. When I contacted the company they told me that it was a known issue in the industry and offered no solutions or assistance to fix the problem. After talking to other fabricators in the industry that is not the case. In fact, it is a direct result of poor prep work. $10,000 for custom deck railings that lasted 2 years and a company with no pride in their work. How disappointing.
