cannot give enough praise to Aquathority! Our 33 yr old pool pump died in July. I called at least 4 pool places to see if they could come out to fix it. A couple said they couldn't help us at all. One scheduled to look at it in 2 weeks. And one had me send pics so they could give me a quote, and I'm still waiting on the quote 6 days later. I called Aquathority on a Monday morning. They asked what horsepower pump I needed and they scheduled to replace it the NEXT DAY! And they showed up by 10am on the next day! My husband said the service guys were courteous and knowledgeable. They installed it very efficiently in the 100 degree heat. So now we're on our way to not have a green pond in our yard. We've owned our pool for 2 years now and have tried a few pool places to get advice and service, but were always disappointed. I'm thrilled that we now have a trustworthy provider.

Aquathority came out very quickly to measure the dimensions of the pool and provide an estimate for costs to make and install the Coverlon pool cover. The delivery and installation took a few days longer than expected but the representatives we spoke to on the phone were always courteous and helpful in determining status. The installation team was very friendly, efficient and helpful in explaining what they were doing and what we needed to do in order to ensure we were happy with the product. Additionally, they sent two workers out to investigate a possible leak in our pump system free of charge while we were waiting for the cover. I would highly recommend the company and we plan to continue to use them.

We cannot say enough good things about the integrity and professionalism of AquaThority Pool Service. We had new plaster, coping and tile done. It was evident from start to finish that every one of the staff took pride in a job well done. They were also very respectful of our property, cleaning up each day. The owners, Tim and Jackie, were an absolute pleasure to work with. We had complete trust in them from start to finish. Our pool looks beautiful!

Not well. Two guys came in the late afternoon, which was fine, but were clearly interested in only one thing - getting done and out (being late afternoon). Left the pump flange to the filter basket container leaking badly and the pump motor making awful noises. Also, they "couldn't" get the fitting for the pool vacuum hose to stay in the wall so they just left it. Now, Aquathority was the original designer of the pool so you would think they could get the fitting to stay in but apparently not - it was left to me to figure out and get to work (which I did and it has been working all summer). Questions were answered with one word - two if absolutely necessary. A week or so later the motor seized, which was not their fault, of course, but the symptoms of what was about to happen were obvious when they were here and they didn't bother even to address it at all (being hot to get done and gone), let me know or give me options. Rather than use them again at an exorbitant price, I bought everything I needed, got some questions answered at a local pool store and did it myself. It was a complete half-a**ed job for over $300. A few weeks later I called and explained why I was so unhappy with their work and would never use them again and the response was "thanks for letting us know" - that was it. Maybe Aquathority is good at designing pools but I will NEVER use them again for anything service work.

Aquathority worked with us from selecting tiles and coping to checking the work progress,  We actually had to convince them we wanted the plaster resurfaced.  This could have been less cost, but we convinced hem we wanted it done.

Every step in the process was completed by talented and hard working employees.  There were employees who specialized in  the diffierent phases.  Plaster and tile and coping removal, then installing new tile, coping and plaster.  After those 2 teams completed their task, the pool decking crew took over,

Each step in the process was reviewed by one of the partners and in one specific instance, coping was removed and replaced at the supervisors direction.

We now have a show room pool, thanks to "team Aquathority".

Start to finish AquaThority is a class act -- shortly after we contacted them, they came to review our pool and spa and the "situation" and then they provided a detailed, easy to read proposal which included potential suprises (and costs to repair) that could unveil themselves as they started the project. Fortunately we didn't have any of those surprises.

We also spoke with another vendor but didn't get the warm and fuzzies from them - customer service was lacking.

After reviewing the proposal from AquaThority we awarded them the job. My husband and I met with Jackie and Tim at AquaThority to discuss our project, make our new tile and coping selections and set a date for them to start work.

They had a change in their schedule and were able to start work on the pool earlier which was great. The team was here early everyday working full days for a solid week to complete the project. They cleaned up along the way and were very pleasant. We are thrilled with the wormanship of the team and can't say enough good things about their customer service from the front office to the team on the ground.

Dave and George determined that it was another part that was broken  and they had a used one in the truck that they gave me for free.  I was just charged for a service call.  Thanks guys!!

. They emptied out all the sand and wheelbarrowed it away to the woods behind our home then took the old leaky filter with them. Frank was great and gave me a 1/2 hr tutorial on how to backwash my new filter since I am a new pool owner. They came back within 2 days and vacuumed the pool. quoted me for some tile and caulking. their prices on filter installation & opening pool, were extremely competitive as well as for caulking. They were on time and office was very responsive.

The service guys that came out were great! We just bought our house and never had a pool before. They showed me how the equipment worked and gave me some tips and instructions on how to use them properly. They offered to take care of a couple of other issues they found since they were there. I use Aquathority to close my pool every year! 
 I also order chemicals from Aquathority. They deliver next day, have great prices and leave everything where I want them.

I have met a good bit of their staff over the years and all have been great to work. The tile repair work they did matches perfectly with the original tile and is holding up well.

The tile and coping renovations went very well.  Owner very friendly, punctual, responsive to questions.  Showroom hours were convenient and willingness to allow us to take various tiles/coping samples home was great.  The work was done efficiently and with high quality.
However, when we presented them with a valid Angie's List coupon, company did not honor the coupon stating "that was a mistake by Angie's List" and not a valid promotion.  No attempt was made to make restitution to us or to address this issue with Angie's List.  We were expected to pay full price which we ended up doing.
Our "free" pool closing was done quite poorly compared to our previously used pool service.  The pool service technician left the pool patio area a mess with parts not swept up and chemical powder coating the patio and furniture.  However, a followup phone call to complain was handled courteously and a second technician came out very quickly to clean up.
Overall, I would definitely use this company again for renovation work.  The owners were a pleasure to work with and the renovation work was done very well.  I would, however, be sure that if they advertise a promotion or offer coupons that the promotion is verified before scheduling the work or placing a deposit.  I gave them an overall grade of "B" because I felt that the promotion on Angie's List was misleading and the quality of work at pool closing was quite poor.

The service is good.  They come when they said and they do what they say they will.  We have used them several times.

I had the pool guy come out twice for two different issues. Both times the problem wasn't solved and they needed to come back and then fought me about billing me twice for the same work they didn't do right the first time. My phone conversations with Bob were very unpleasant. He's rude, abrasive and not worth the hassle of dealing with. There are plenty of pool companies to choose from. I suggest you keep looking.

I hired Aquathority to renovate my pool in 2010.  They did a beautiful job.  Since then, I have used them to open and close my pool, and to address any problems with the pool chemistry, equipment, etc.  They have always been very responsive and I've been extremely happy with their work and service.  A year or so after having my pool renovated, I had a a small problem with some of the coping stones.  The problem was related to the manufacturer, not to AquaThority.  However, Aquathority honored their warranty and compensated me fairly for the issue.  I would highly recommend this company!
