Don Shriver Video Drain Service cleared a large clog in our garage drain. Mr. Shriver quoted the price upfront. The technician arrived within two hours of our call, quickly identified the target area, and released the clog within minutes. He jetted the pipe and problem solved with no mess. The work quality was exemplary!! These guys are at the top of their game: prompt, professional, highly skilled, and have the right equipment to get the job done. Charged us $550 to come out andTurbo jet our pipes and also video scope the lines to tell us we have a collapsed or collapsing pipe and marked the ground where they thought the issue was. The guys that came out did not show us any of the video, even though my husband was out there the entire time. Then they said that Don would be in contact to come out and do an estimate for the pipe repair. A month later, we are still waiting. So, did they lie and say there was a problem (since we didn't see it) or is the customer service just that bad. Very bad service for the amount they charged and the little time spent.

Charged $643.00 for one hours work. Identified the problem but did not repair. Completely overpriced for the work performed. I would love to know what he thinks he did that justifies $643.00 per hour for diagnosing a problem...NO REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED!

Mr. Shriver came when scheduled and did what he said he would do. His promptness and reliability were good. The quality of work was good, although I would have preferred that he provide a recording of the video inspection. My primary issue was the cost of the excavation and pipe replacement, $1850, for about 1/2 day of work. This was about twice what two local excavators had estimated. I chose Mr. Shriver because he was willing to do the work in late December. The local excavators were booked out for a month or more. Mr. Shriver did not provide a detailed bill (parts and labor etc), just a total price.

Very nicely.  He explained everything before the job and did as he said.  His workers were friendly and professional.

He said he'd have to return to dig it up and it would be several thousand dollars.  He gave us a bill for the hour he was there and it was $450!!  And that was with a senior discount!  I felt that this was entirely too much money for what he did and decided not to call him for the fix.  I did it myself with the help of my son and another man.
I've had him out several times before and felt that he was a bit expensive for the job, but this time it was ridiculous for the simple snake and video which took less than an hour.

Don said he would be there to do the job on Monday.Didn't show up.Had to shut my water line down affecting my business.He didn't come until late in the afternoon the next day. He worked at the job for about 1 hr 15 min. and charged $745.00.For that kind of charge I will not ever use him again.Asked for a itemized billing that he refuse to give me one.

Overall, this service went very well. I would use them again in the future.

He wanted to come the very next morning after I called, however, I was unavailable at that time, so we arranged for him to come after his first job that day.  However, that job took much longer than expected, so he didn't arrive until 7pm.  He kept calling, though, to give me updates on his progress and probable time of arrival. I appreciated that.  When he arrived he went to work putting the sprayer down the drain,  and after a very long time, a plastic bag finally came out of the open drain outside.  After that the drains worked very well. I had a 10% off coupon from Angie's list and he promptly took the discount off without any question.  He was done by 10pm.

It went great. He arrived as expected.
Explained my options and cost before he started.
Proceeded to do the drain cleaning.
Was clean about what he did and was very courteous
in dealing with me.

Don Shriver's Video Drain provided prompt, professional, and friendly service.  They cleared a large clog in the plumbing line in the basement garage drain that connected with the sewer main.  They had the right tools for the job and explained the problem and solution clearly.  I would highly recommend and plan to use them again the next time I have a plumbing job.

Don Shriver was very down to earth. He scoped the drain and didn't charge me to go in different ways. They flushed it out and put the scope wherever I wanted, they unclogged it and checked to make sure that the water was running well through it. Before he left, he asked me if they had done everything I wanted them to do and if I was happy; he made sure that I was happy with what they did.

The previous company had showed us the area we needed to dig up. So the tech targeted that area & just as quickly discounted it. He showed us on the cam that section of pipe was clear and not collapsed at all. The problem was a build up in a section of pipe 20ft away! They power washed the pipes and problem solved in less than an hr after it was located! No digging, no muddy feet. Minimal cost and very little mess. These guys know what they are doing and so do you because they show you as they go. No surprise cost .... just an honest explanation of your problem. I will pay $300 vs. the $5000. from the other co anytime. We live in older house so we know there will be problems in the future & next time I make one call only .... to Shriver's Video Drain.

We had a clog in our toilet which affected the entire bathroom. I called them, left a message and they called me back quickly. They showed up when they said they would, swooped in, removed the toilet, whipped out the high pressure hose and blasted the clog out. Then they took the camera through and let us know we had a bit of a sunken area on one section of our pipe. We haven't fixed it yet, but I'm glad we know it is there. They then put everything back and left. It cost me $350.00-which was tough on us, but I was very happy with their service.
