Fine. I have used them several times in the past for everything from plumbing to heating. They always provide great service.

They were always prompt, neat, efficient, and courteous. We were very satisfied with their prices, and we found that they really strived to make sure that we were happy with their work.

Everything went great. They were punctual; they were efficient and stuck to the time -frame that they originally gave us; they were great about getting our involvement on a couple of decisions/changes that needed to be made; they were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. The system works great, and we're very pleased. We've used Martz's before for plumbing work, and we'll use them again.

Our home was empty at the time (fall of 2011) , we had moved out of state and needed to winterize the house so the pipes wouldn't freeze.
A few months later I have a tenant moving in and she tells me that the master bathroom toilet cover was off and the water was running. It turns out the plumber that did the work left the top off one of the toilets and the plunger was left open with the water running. I ended up getting a $500+ water bill.
I called Martz on the phone to try and resolve the issue and it turned into big ordeal. They deny that this ever could have happened, other people MUST have been inside the house (which there wasn't) My tenant rented the place without seeing it and based on the internet pictures (she was a military transfer).
I simply wanted the water bill covered but they refused claiming that is was impossible for this to happen by their plumber. I ended up paying (approx.) 75% of the bill and they agreed to a fraction.
Honestly, mistakes happen. Forgive, Forget and move on. So, I tried to hire them again (12/2013) to winterize our home and they refused. STILL claiming that someone else had opened the back of the toilet and left the plunger open. Which at this point I felt I had to warn other consumers in the area. Based on their character and integrity I wouldn't advice anyone to use them.

We have used Martz multiple time for different plumbing and heating and cooling problems. They have always answered when I have called or called back within an hour. They can usually be at our house within the day, especially if it is something and quot;important.and quot; They are always on time, very friendly and clean up after themselves. Each time that we have used them we have felt that we were charged very fairly and on several occasions they could have easily taken advantage of us, but gave us cheaper solutions that were just as effective as their more expensive counterpart.
We did have a furnace cleaning scheduled that they had to reschedule due to an emergency at another customer's home. I was glad to know that if we ever had a time sensitive issue they would be sure to help us.
We will continue to be Martz customers!!!!

Efficient and competent service

The technician showed up right on time (I called around 7:30 am and was able to have someone at the house by around 11:30 or noon that day!), quick, efficient and exceptionally professional. I was able to allow him to work in the basement and continue working in my office upstairs. He was even aware of our dog and two cats to ensure he didn't accidentally let one of them out. Our bill was very reasonable for the amount of time spent and for the quality of work that Martz provides. We will definitely be calling them with any future problems.

Very fast

We had contacted 2 other plumbers that could do gas line installation and after a week of waiting, we went a little further outside of our area. Martz Plumbing was the next closest. I was out of town, so my wife contacted them, and explained that we had the stove in place and have been without one for a week. Bruce first told her he would come on Thursday, and after she asked if he could come sooner; he said he would come that evening after work.
He arrived that evening, after calling to let her know that he was on his way and his ETA. He looked at the job, gave her a verbal estimate, and said someone would call at 11am the next morning to say what time they would arrive.
At 11 am he called, said he would arrive at 1230, which he did, and completed the job in less than 3 hours. His workmanship was very meticulous, and of very good quality. His manners and professionalism were excellent.

They came quickly, and fixed the problem after a bit of trouble shooting (clogged pipe). He also checked on some other things to make sure there were no secondary issues. Very pleased.

They were in and out in less than an hour and a half. Great service great price.

Discovered water was leaking from our AC unit. It turned out it was just a clogged drain in the unit. The technician unclogged the drain and even cleaned out another hose that led away from the unit, just to be sure we didn't have any future problems with it. No problems with puddles in the basement since.

Their tech arrived right on time, removed the old unit and replaced with a new one in less than an hour. Checked to make sure it was working properly without leaking. Installation was very neat and professional. Would use them again without reservation.

Came when expected. Fixed problem quickly and efficiently. Professional, proficient and priced reasonably.

Everything about them was excellent. I have no complaints about anything.

He replaced the toilet parts within a couple of hours and the price was good, even on a Saturday. He was very nice and polite. The AC was repaired the following day, and they came prepaired with all of the parts that they needed. Again, they were nice, polite, and had a reasonable price.
