We were out of the country while the work was done at the house. That was great for us and Tom. Also we missed the "winter" of 2014 :)
Tom was excellent in working with us in the planning and procurement stage and even went tile and fixture shopping with us. So, when we left for Italy the plans were all set and the fixtures were purchased.
As Tom performed work he would advise us by e-mail and would also send videos (posted on YouTube) of work in different stages. So, we were able to "see" what was being done. That was terrific
When we returned at the end of May, we were very please with the results. There were a couple of minor points (which is normal) that had to be addressed. We finalized that list in June. The major items have been fixed (we liked a different mirror), However we are still waiting for a couple of details to be corrected.
Yes we did pay the full amount in May, before we returned home. Tom is that trustworthy!

Tom Horgan came by as scheduled and confirmed the need for replacement of the whole unit. He then sent over three of his men to exchange this kitchen/patio door with the identical door in the dining room which is never used and slides perfecly.
That got us up and going so again we could access the patio from the kitchen.
I'll need to decide whether I want to now replace the whole window/door unit or simply continue to use the one from the dining room. His charge for $90 was most fair given it takes two, preferably three men to dismount and move the doors
he put them in and now I have good locks and handles on my doors
