Mike and Jim were punctual and courteous.  They installed three dead bolts and did a very good job.  They also replaced existing hardware to match the new dead bolts.  Mike also took the time to fix a lock on my patio gate that was not properly latching.  I would call Dayton Lock Company again.  Before I called Dayton, I had called another company but the were not available.  Dayton did and Mike and Jim did very good work.

I was amazed that Dayton's was able to repair the lock that had been on the front door for decades.   And, they did it for very little money, and were extremely polite and efficient.   They were actually first recommended to me by Ricklin's Hardware in Narberth.

Great. They completed the re-keying within two hours of drop off. No issues with the locks or keys. Very professional company.

Our front door lock was broken and the locks on the 3 outside doors did not match and we had to use 3 different keys. I wanted the two locks per door replaced. Kevin called to let me know he was on his way. He worked quickly and efficiently, cleaning up after himself. He was very professional and polite. I highly recommend them.

I have used a lot of lock smiths and Mike at Dayton was the best lock smith experience I have ever had.  So professional and really knew his stuff.  He fixed all the poor work that was previously done.  Would definitely use again!

Dayton called  to confirm the appointment, they also called the day before. They had an opening earlier and wanted to know if we were interested to move up our appointment. They showed up on time, fixed the problem and were very reasonable, and polite. Definitely will do business with them again.

We had Dayton come to our new house (right after closing) to re-key the locks before we started moving stuff into the house.  Through a combination of email and phone calls, we were able to get the appointment scheduled a few weeks in advance, although we weren't entirely sure what would need to be done.  On the day of our appointment, the locksmith called 10 min before arrival, and arrived on time.  He worked quickly and efficiently, and left no mess behind!  The sliding door lock was not catching on the latch plate, so he adjusted it as well.  He also took measurements for the front door lock in case we decide to replace the hardware - this will speed up the ordering process.  Overall, it took him about 1 hour to re-key 3 exterior doors, make a few extra copies of the key, and fix the sliding door lock.  I was very pleased with his professionalism and attention to detail.

Update:  In my original review, I gave this provider all A ratings.  About 3 weeks after the initial service, we started having problems with the front door lock - the deadbolt inside was not shooting the bolt into the door frame, and the doorknob was not turning.  I spoke with the locksmith and described the problem; he agreed to try and squeeze us in a few days later.  The day of the agreed service, he told my husband over the phone that he'd told me there was a bigger problem with the front door lock and that we needed to replace the hardware to fix the problem.  (I don't recall him telling me that.)  He said emphatically that there was nothing he could do, but very grudgingly said he'd come out if we really wanted him to.  We didn't bother scheduling an appointment - which would have been at least 1 week out - or discussing this with the office staff because we were so frustrated.  I have a hard time reconciling the great service we got initially with the unwillingness to even check up on his work later.  Good thing lock work is not something we will need to do regularly.

Mike arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional.  He was able to quickly take all the locks out of our house, garage and basement doors, and re-key all of them in his truck.  It took him about half an hour to get it done, including making 8 new keys for us.  I was very pleased with the service and would use Dayton again for any additional locksmith needs.

They came very promptly. They did the work very efficiently. They were very pleasant. We will certainly use them again if we need to. He changed the locks that were working for three centuries or so.
