Garbage Collection
For the second year in a row, they have failed to pick up trash due to weather. Their competitor has managed to still pick up on my street. Lat year, I called, left messages, and emailed. I received no response or apology. This was during Christmas, we went three weeks without pickup. All boxes and trash were blown throughout ours and neighbors yards due to the long period of time that nothing was picked up. This year, they have again failed to pick up so I am cancelling service. I was just told that they will not refund any money that I have paid, nor money for failure to pick up. They require 3 months payment in advance ($90/quarter) so I am left with the option of losing out on approximately $60 or continuing service for the next two months and likely not even getting the service half the time! Very disgusted. In my personal opinion, this is THEFT!
Not to mention, the competitor I have called to switch to is $60/month. As soon as my contract is up with Waste Management, I will be more than happy to switch and save the equivalent of $120/year!
