The homeowner – an elderly single Canonsburg PA lady, receiving chemo treatments – her basement floor drains were backing up raw sewage when she ran the washing machine. House is 70years old. Plumber #1 to busy. Plumbing #2 misdiagnosed the problem and tried to get the dear old lady to buy fraudulent insurance. I posted the need on Angie’s list. The next morning Slaney Plumbing called. Mr Slaney arrived at the house 4 hours later. Pushed a snake through the clog. Ran video into pipe. Showed us problem. Had to cut a hole concrete garage floor to open the pipe. Ran a hydro jet upstream and downstream. When finished Slaney Plumbing showed us a video of “all piping clear”. Patched the concrete floor. Slaney Plumbing and Sons -Great communication of: the problem, plan and estimated cost. Timely completion of the project. Honest professionals. Had all the right tools to provide quality service. I am a tech guy responsible for millions of dollars of projects with high expectations and a critic. I plan to use Stanley Plumbing for every plumbing project I have in the future.

All work was done well and his sons were very friendly although working in high heat and humidity. Dennis responded to an emergency call The day after the city water was turned on. A bad plumbing joint failed due to the increased water pressure. This was an old pipe not related to the work he had just performed. I called at 8:40 Am and he responded within 1 hour! He located the leak in a very difficult spot and made the necessary repairs. I recommend Dennis Slaney without question. He is a true Pro!

They arrived on time, had the proper parts, and worked to complete the job on time. Very prompt service right before the Thanksgiving Holiday!

We've used them quite a number of times. What stands out is their price; they can't be beat. They are very nice guys and it is a family-owned business.

He initially estimated around $3200 feet for 15 feet of expected material and labor. It was more than we wanted to pay, but his fee appeared to be on par from what we could Google. Plus we needed our bathroom back asap since the upstairs bathroom connected to the same stack.
Results:
Cons: The concrete floor he laid over the new pipe was not sanded down. This means I still have more work to do. Plus he left the terracotta pipes for me to dispose of instead of taking them away. Which was a pain to get rid of with my local waste management company.
Pros: The plumbing worked great. He was quick and got the job done within 3 days. It ended up being about 25 feet of damaged pipe that was replaced. Including replacing the pipes from our center basement floor drain to the the main sewer line. He knew the cost was a burden to us and he ended up only charging us $2700, which was a God send due to the fact it was 10 feet more than he anticipated. The savings more than covered the the cons I mentioned above. He was very professional and pleasant with my family, including my two young boys.
Since that time I have had him back to replace our water heater (which was covered under the home warranty). I would highly recommend his company and services.

Our home warranty called him on a Sunday. He called me to schedule for Monday morning. He was here first thing Monday morning, quickly cleared the drain, and explained everything in easy to understand 'layman' terms for me. I would definitely recommend him.
