I had multiple bids to have trees cut down and stumps removed. I was waiting to be scheduled from the provider I chose however someone who was aware of my situation gave Lenny my number and sent him to my house. He said he was available to start the next day if I let him have the job. I said ok. Lenny gave me a quoted a price to cut down four trees, remove several small stumps
left from previous owners and backfill the holes with top soil. He needed a deposit. The next part is my fault as I usually thoroughly research someone before selecting them to do work. He did not provide me a written estimate. The next day Lenny and his crew showed up when his crew looked at the trees they told him he did not charge enough and from that point forward he kept trying to
get more money. Lenny backed out on providing top soil. As far as I was able to tell his crew did not have their own tools - everything appeared to be rented.  His crew did remove all the brush however some of it sat in my yard for weeks.  It was cleaned up before winter. The stumps were not removed until this spring.  They did not clean up after removing the stumps and left the wood chips for me to clean up. This work started in October and finished in April.
