PHILLIPS CONSTRUCTION

Phillips came to my house to look at the job and give an estimate.  I told Phillips that I had a $10,000 budget and asked him if I could get the job done for that amount.  He stated that he would do the work for $10,000.  The date was scheduled and Phillips came to do the job when scheduled.    The workers were not considerate of my yard and destroyed parts of it that should not have been affected.  At the end of the job, I noticed the damage on the yard and areas destroyed by his equipment.  I brought this to Phillips attention and he did not intend to fix that stating it was my job to repair that part.  I questioned why the exposed aggregate did not look as good as the others and he then got a bad attitude with me and became very aggressive.  Before leaving, Phillips stated that he wanted an additional $1200 for his work.  His claim was that he needed to do more work than initially thought.  I refused to pay the extra money and Phillips then became very aggressive.    I would NEVER have this guy perform work again nor would I recommend that anyone does.
