Eric did an amazing job on my kitchen and dining room remodel. He was meticulous, punctual, and friendly. I highly recommend him and his team.

Eric and John did a fantastic job. They were professional, friendly and had a vast amount of pride in the work being done. They also replaced a door and windows in my mudroom. It was also re-sided and during this, Eric found a live wire. He not only took care of it, he used it to install a weatherproof outlet that was sorely needed. While replacing my porch flooring, Eric discovered the floor joists were not equal and the floorboards were actually doubled. (My house is old and built in sections.) He did the addition work needed and did a great job of it. Everyone who sees the porch and mudroom comments on what a great job he did. After years of trying to get service people to estimate jobs, show up on time, or show up on the date they say, and do decent not shoddy work, Eric is a true professional! I have some projects I'm thinking of in the future, and Matson Diversified Services will, with out a doubt, be the only call I make.

They are very prompt and not only showed up on time but they showed up early. They are very good about being open to suggestions and very good with communication on what they were doing and if they had suggestions on the project they were very reasonable. The project was supposed to take two weeks but they had it completed in a week and a half. I was very impressed with how they worked!

This is the second bathroom that Eric and John did for me, a wonderful job.

We had hired Eric to push out one of our exterior walls. During the period he was working on the home, we noticed we had water coming in to our basement. We asked Eric to come and take a look and see if it was work he thought he could do. He agreed and said it would not be a problem to rectify the water leaking into the basement. He gave us a quote for the work, and agreed to do the work while performing the addition. He then started to dig around the house in order to put roofing tar on the exterior of our basement walls informing us this will create a waterproof barrier to help stop water going into the basement. He then told us he put a french drain at the footer of our house to get the water away from our basement. This french drain never had any water come out of it, and we never stopped having water come into our basement, if anything we noticed more water after the work was done. This occurred multiple times after the work was done. We notified Eric about this issue, he came out to take a look and informed us he would then put in a second french drain further away from the house and this would then stop the water problem. We wanted him to dig up the original french drain around our homes foundation but he refused, stating this wasn't necessary. He completed this work on the additional french drain and again, the new french drain never worked. I actually used a hose to test this french drain and the water literally poured into our basement when put directly into the french drain's access point. At this point, we notified Eric again and he informed us that the reason both french drains didn't work was because our gutters had runoff from the roof and it filled the drain with silt/mud. He also then at this point claimed he was not a waterproofing expert and never claimed to be. This is true, he never said he was a waterproofing expert, but what he did say was that he could stop the water coming into our basement and took our money as a result. All the time the work was being done he never mentioned that he thought we should consult a waterproofing company or even get a second opinion. After much persuasion, Eric dug up the original french drain around the footers of our home. This resulted in finding out how badly the work was done around the home. Eric essentially made a trough on the outside of our basement. He dug down to the footers, filled about 3 feet with gravel, laid a layer of weed blocking fabric on top of the gravel, and then corrugated pipe on the fabric. He then filled the rest with gravel up to the surface. After having a waterproofing company AND an architect come in to evaluate the work, it was determined the french drain would never have let water flow through it as it would have fallen straight through the pipe and simply built up around our house until it went inside. It was also determined that roofing tar is simply a damp proof solution to basement walls rather than waterproofing. We should have

Our tile project was a backsplash in our kitchen. Eric Matson came within a few days to give us an estimate. I kept him informed as to the delivery date for the tile and he was able to come the next day to start the project. He was in and out in two days as promised. The finished backsplash is beautiful and the workmanship professional. Eric and John were polite, efficient, and worked well together.

Another contractor was supposed to do this work. After several attempts to get an estimate from him, I found Eric on HomeAdvisor. He came out the next day and gave me an estimate immediately. He kept in touch throughout the whole process and went above and beyond our expectations. Eric and John did excellent work! I plan on having Eric do additional work for me in the future.

My mail box was knocked down. If your mail box isn't standing the postal service will not deliver your mail. My mailbox was replaced with a new one that matched the others in the HOA within 24 hours. Also it was in the middle of a snow storm. Who knew that there are some really hard working reliable and honest handymen out there. Thanks Eric.

I made the arrangements for these repairs for my elderly mother. Eric was very professional, helpful and trustworthy. Mom was very pleased with how he handled the project and his level of honesty about the work that needed to be performed. We would definitely call again.

Eric the owner actually calls you back within 1 day then apologizes for not calling sooner...wow! what a wonderful trait in a world when no one wants to work or take pride in their God given right to pursue happiness! Eric has more principle,integrity,talent,etc. then men twice his age! We have been burned to many times by those baby boomers contractors,never again! Eric is the go to man, on speed dial!!

Eric and his crew are doing a great job! They are professional and fun at the same time. We are very pleased with the quality of work! A real pleasure to work with at fair pricing. AWe will definitely be calling him back in the future for more projects!
