he left and never came back.  township declared my home a state of emergency.  township sited him on multiple actions by him that brought my home to be a disaster.  now i am paying over 30,000.00 to fix what he damaged.

Initial impression was very good, knowledgeable, flexible, professional, we even chose him because of a personal recommendation from another service provider we liked. We got 3 quotes and his price was comparable to the others, so we decided to use King Elec. He worked on the project for 2 days and did not finish the work and disappeared. Out electrical box is located inside of a finished, livable room in the basement, where he cut a giant opening in our drywall and ceiling to install the new box, without informing us this would have to happen and that we were responsible for repairing the drywall... The outlets he installed must have been the cheapest you could find at Home Depot because they are nearly impossible to use, so tight it takes me two hands and my body weight to get anything to plug into them... He also put both outlets on the same circuit instead of running two separate circuits like we requested. He also didn't finish with another outlet we asked him to fix. We tried calling him several times over the course of the next 2-3 weeks and he stopped answering/returning our calls. The first few times we got excuses like "my truck is broken" or he's got "an emergency repair job"... until he completely started ignoring us and not returning our calls. So 9 mths later... he has the guts to sends us a bill that says "all work was completed" and that we should pay him. I'm sorry... but right now I think he should be paying me because I still have to hire another electrician to finish and repair what he did wrong and a handyman to fix the drywall section he removed!!! I suppose the only positive in all this is at least he installed the new panel correctly. I would stay away from this guy, and if you do hire him, get every detail of the job on paper, spelled out and documented, and give him a deadline.
