real estate appraisal
+ -1 moreAppraiser was hired to do a comparable appraisal on our home thru the company with which we applied. The appraiser used low grade comps to lowball our home. As an ex real estate agent I am mortified and furious that a real estate professional appraiser would do this and completely disregard the amenities, lot size, integrity, location, and immediate neighborhood comps of comparable solds and the current market. This has been an ongoing issue with local Realtors and appraisers purposefully dissecting certain areas within the city to undermine our beautifully maintained city homes with unrelated and unfavorable comparisons in order to keep sales low. Disgusting misuse of the REALTOR, SRA & GAA titles!
