Ed Scheletsky

About 10 years ago we replaced all of our windows except two.  Another contractor wanted 6000.00 to do the job.  My husband heard Ed Scheletsky's ad on the local Washington, PA radio station and called him. He promptly came over and looked at the job. We specified the material be vinyl clad and the exterior color brown. Ed recommended the window manufacturer and his price was reasonable.  We asked that the trim be the same in kind as the other replacement windows because the old ones did not have wood trim or window seals.  Wow what a difference!  Ed chose to use a replacement window that I later researched and was mentioned on a job in "This Old House" and is rated well.  The carpentry on the wood trim makes my other replacement windows look shabby at best.  His carpenter took so much care to make sure that the casing was at 90 degree angles and the seal is level.  Ed participated in some of the work but came by several times a day to check the job and help. The whole job took 2 days, including the trim and it is wonderful.  I hope to have this company replace my other windows some day. The windows are well insulated and the caulking looks great.  I am sure that we will notice the difference in the cold weather.
