The sales manager refused to honor the commitment made by the salesperson. I sent a note to his manager and he never responded.
Description of Work: The store in Wexford backed out of a commitment made by their salesperson on a GroupOn. This was for a sofa and the salesperson made a commitment to honor the GroupOn after we agreed upon a price.

They delivered it and a year later the county did an audit of my brothers apartment. They were making sure it was ok for a mentally challenged person. They deemed the sofa unsafe, there was a spring sticking out. If my brother or any staff member had sat on it, it would have injured them. When the county alerted me, I called DFW and explained the situation to them. They didn't send anyone out for two months, knowing that it was deemed a hazard. I was writing and calling them, as well as my brother's staff. They made all sorts of excuses and kept routing us to different people and departments. Finally, a service man came out and sewed up the hole in the sofa. We had a warranty, 5 years on foundation, 3 years on springs, and 1 year on cushions and material. When I reported this to DFW when I finally got to speak to someone, they said the manufacturer went out of business and they are not responsible. They also said they would do right by brother, either give him back $500 to buy another sofa or he could come in there and pick out a comparable sofa. They did neither. They sewed up the hole and left. They didn't fix the sagging or where the material had gathered or anything. It looks like a big piece of junk and it's only a year old. Because of all the trouble, that took about 4 1/2 months, they offered to let my brother come in and pick something out at a discount. But, that is completely not what they promised. We decided we didn't want to deal with them, it was so hard to get a hold of anyone. Corporate had hung up on me. I also reported this story to a local news source and the reporter had a hard time getting a hold of anyone as well. I was so displeased with this company's lack of compassion and caring from my autistic brother.
Description of Work: We purchased a sofa and a love seat for my mentally challenged brother that he picked out while visiting us in Augusta. We ordered it through the Washington PA store so it could be delivered to his place.
