Excellent work. Our outside sewer line broke due to wear and Mike was extremely responsive with an excellent team supporting the repair. The project involved a 5 foot dig but after the project you could not tell our landscaping had been disturbed.

Vesey Plumbing & Heating replaced the hot water heater in my home. All went perfectly. Mike was on time, quick, efficient, and everything was done with high quality. Will 100% use Mike again.

Mike came on time, and was friendly enough, and left my home cleaned up.  We had an issue with the faucet he installed (it didn't fit), however, he came and replaced it with one we picked.  Kind of p***** that he didn't measure faucet before installing it.  This was our first job of this nature, so I'm not sure if we should have had one picked out before he came, but he never mentioned it during his pre-install visit.  I will say he was very willing to resolve the issue, and was professional and we love our new faucet.
He did a good job with the hose faucet outside the house.

For the estimate:  Mike was punctual.  He reviewed the job and provided an estimate by email when he said he would.  The estimate was clear and he provided options, indicating which, in his professional view, was the better option.    When we agreed to the price, he was honest about when he could get the job done and how long it would take to complete. 

On the day scheduled for the job, Mike was punctual.  He wasted no time once he arrived,  Everything was as indicated. The job site was left in clean condition.

He does good work.  Part of his appeal is that I can trust him, that he will be fair and honest and that I can feel safe with him in my home with my kids.  I can be in and out and I don’t have to worry about being home all the time when he is here.  He would get back to me within twenty-four hours of my call, consistently.  We have such old fixture and if he is trying to fix those, he says outright if he can’t do it.  He would tell me what is what is not fixable.  I learned that it wasn’t because he was incapable, because I had another plumbing looked another shower faucet with the same problem and he said he could fix it but it might make it worse, which is exactly what happened with Vesey.  His price wasn’t astronomical; it was pretty fair.

I had a main drain problem and quotes from two other companies to excavate and replace the line at great expense. Mike gave me an estimate to diagnose the problem. Once he determined the issues, he was able to give me a price on the repair. He cleared the drain for about 10 percent of the cost of excavation and replacement. He and his helper also completed the work in very cold, wintry weather.

We called Mike and spoke to him about what we wanted. He recommended we go to a plumbing supply and suggested a few brands. In fact, he spent a lot of time on the phone with us on a Friday night.
Anyway,  we did that and selected a faucet. On the day of the install (a Saturday which was great!) Mike showed up on time and started working. About halfway into the job he realized we didn't have the plate needed to cover the three holes on the sink as this new faucet only used one. We thought maybe someone at the supply house removed it because they had told us that it came with one.
 This is where Mike's extraordinary service comes in, he called the supply house and drove down there to get one. Then once there, it was discovered that the suppler had told us the wrong thing and that the faucet did not come with or have a plate available for our type sink. So Mike picked out the same brand faucet which is so similar we really can't tell the difference and which came with the plate for a 3 hole sink, then drove back to our house and finished up the install. We were very happy.  Some places would have just stopped the job and waited until we had straightened everything out but Mike really went the extra mile for us. 
On top of everything else his prices are very reasonable and he is a very professional and personable guy. We'll be using Vesey Plumbing for future jobs.

Mike did a fantastic job with this gas line install and insisted on doing it right by using galvanized and black pipe versus the flexible type which is easier to run but potentially prone to puncture and electrical strikes. He was extremely flexible with small changes I made during the process and did not charge a dime more. He sized the pipe diameter properly for this job and no leaks at any joint when finished.  His price was reasonable for the scope of work performed and he protected my interior house by running cloth tarps on floors and rugs so no mess at all. Very impressed with his competence and cleanliness. I will be using him again for anymore plumbing needs. Highly recommend his services!!

Very well.  He was prompt, easy to deal with and most importantly, provided a good service at a fair price. He even recommended another contractor who could fix the drywall damage from the leak.

He told us to caulk around the drain heavily and the overflow as well to stop the water from escaping along the outside of the pipes and down through the ceiling.
   
Unfortunately this is as far as we have gotten.  Hope to solve the problem permanently, soon.

Mike had installed a vanity for us in the past and so we were so pleased with that work we had him install a kitchen faucet too. Mike showed up on time and took his time to do the job right. We were very pleased with Mike's work and attitude and we will use him again if the need arises.

A very good experience.    A number of plumbing issues had been identified within the house.  Each was prepared promptly and properly, with no surprises with regard to cost.  Highly recommended.

I called Vesey plumbing to repair/replace leaky hose bib in backyard and repair leaky toilet flapper Both were completed professionaly and cleanly. He explained how to use the new hose bib and showed me what was replaced in the toilet.

Although price was not cheap, I recoginized professional, experienced people cost money- plumbing is an example of you get what you pay for!

He came on time and really looked to see what was going on with my plumbing problem and did a great job with diagnosis and fixing the problem.

Our sump pump backup battery had died so we consulted Mike about what to do. He noted that our main pump wasn't high quality, which we agreed on, so he recommended that we replace the main pump and backup battery with new professional grade units. We had scheduled for him to perform the install on October 30 but Hurricane Sandy was coming so I called him to see if he could come out earlier. He said he would come on October 29 and work until he was done. Mike did just that, working during the storm! He finished with a few hours to spare, as we lost our power that evening. The backup pump kicked in and saved our basement from any flooding. We now have a great sump pump system that does the job wonderfully. As usual, Mike saved the day.

Mike was very professional and great to work with.  He did everything he said he would, and did an excellent job.  We will definitely use him again.

A couple months ago, we had to move our refrigerator and noticed that the water line had a leaky connection in the basement at a saddle valve.  Since then, Mike was at our home for a shower project and said he could replace the saddle value with something better on a future visit.  On this visit, he cut the cold water line in the basement (at the saddle valve) and attached a copper T-fitting.  He then attached a valve with a handle to the T-fitting.  If we ever have to move the refrigerator again, this will make it much easier to turn off its water supply. Mike also cleared the drains for our master bathroom sinks. Finally, our sump pump backup battery had recently died, so we asked Mike's opinion on what to do.  He gave us 3 options: replace the existing backup battery system, install a new backup battery and main system, or install a water powered system.  We are still deciding on what to do and will be contacting him soon to schedule the work. Once again, Mike was very professional and helpful.  His work looks high quality and he cleans up everything.  We will definitely be using his services again.

I had a leak in the second floor shower that was coming through the ceiling on the first floor.  I called my regular plumber and he didn't come when he said and didn't return calls.  I called Vessey Plumbing about 9:30 in the morning and explained that it was important that I get someone as soon as possible.  He called back about noon and said he would be here before the day was out even if it was the dinner hour.  He showed up about 4PM and made the repair in about 1 1/2 hours.  I had opened up everything for him and I think the time it took was reasonable.  He did a fine job and was very professional and nice.  Saved the day for us.  He charges $125 for the first hour and $110 after that.  Don't know if that is the going rate now or not.

I was attempting some modifications to our shower valve without shutting off the main water supply beforehand. This resulted in water flowing behind our shower wall into the kitchen below! My wife rushed to turn off the main water supply but a lot of damage had already been done. I found Vesey Plumbing on Angies's List and gave them a call. The voicemail directed me to call Mike's cell phone in case of emergency. I called Mike and he answered right away. After I explained my dilemma, he told me that he was leaving another job soon and would come to my place afterwards. He arrived 45 minutes later, assessed the damage, and explained that he could cap the shower pipes so we could at least turn the water back on that night. He could then return another day to install new shower fixtures after we picked out a style online.
We agreed to this so Mike went right to work. He cut a hole in our closet wall to expose the shower pipes (the cuts were straight and he saved us the drywall, so we should be able to reuse it). He cut the pipes and capped them. Then we turned the water back on and everything worked fine. The job took about an hour to complete.
Mike was very professional and nice. I would definitely recommend him and I look forward to him returning to install our new shower fixtures. I just wish I had called him in the first place!

The guy who put in the garbage disposal last year did not respond to my phone calls about the drain leaking from Thursday and over the weekend.  I called Mike on Monday. He fit me in after his last job the next day, working late.  The pipe had a double trap, probably jerry-rigged because a welding tool was needed.  Mike repaired it on the spot saving me the cost of a return visit.  He honored the coupon I had printed from Angie's List.  The charge was fair for the time he put in at the end of the day.

Great work! Mike was on the job when he promised and fixed the problem quickly and effectively. Left the area clean. Very professional in every way. Very reasonable price for the amount of work performed. I would not hesitate to use him again and I will recommend him to neighbors and friends.
