SPA ONE NAIL SALON

I called the week prior to my visit to confirm that my sister and I could use the "FIRST VISIT SPECIAL - 10% OFF" coupon on their website. The woman on the phone confirmed that our pedicure would be $22.50 (10% off the price). The special is written as "10% OFF your first visit to SPA #1 NAILS Salon. You have to mention about this special online offer. Cannot combine with other offers." I called the day before our visit to make our appt and confirm we could use the 10% OFF, and a second time received verbal confirmation that we could. When we arrived I felt the atmosphere was stifled and awkward. Perhaps it was just me, but then my sister mentioned it also. We are both very frequent users of salons for our pedicures, so we do notice when something is off. Large selection of polishes, but not many OPI, which is my preference. Pedicure was fine. It was enjoyable since I was there with my sister and we had fun chatting. However, when we went to pay, I pulled out the coupons for 10% discount, and they were refused. I believe it was the owner at the register. But now he refused to give the 10% discount. He said the coupon was for 10% on the next visit (not how it is written). I told him that I called to confirm prior and he just spoke over me and said no. So, what's the point of arguing when he obviously does not care about customer service? I guess his business is flush and for some reason he didn't want our business again. Which is fine, I will oblige. His demeanor was quite rude. I have just read some other reviewers on other websites, and one reviewer mentioned that she received a 10% discount on her first visit. So apparently it was just my sister and I who were denied the discount. We just chatted to ourselves the entire visit, so I did not see any reason why he decided that we would not get the discount. It was disappointing to be treated like this at the end of our visit. We won't be going back.
