LOWE'S HOME IMPROVEMENT WAREHOUSE OF WARRINGTON

Ordered windows from them.   Made an appointment with the sales person during my lunch hour, only for him to be 45 min late.  Two weeks later had an appointment with the installer to measure the windows, left work early to meet with him - two hours late.  Neither gave me a heads up that they would be late.  In fact the installer to measure the windows only called 45 min after the appointment.
We'll see how long the installation will go.  Had some windows installed by them a few years ago and they installed the wrong color flashing.

Lowe's third party contractor came out to install our new dishwasher.  Things did not go well.  
Firstly, it took three weeks for the install to be scheduled, after the salesperson said the item was "in Michigan and would be shipped to the store in 5 days".  
Finally when the install day came, the installer showed me the product, had me confirm positioning of the dishwasher in the cabinet, installed everything, started a test cycle, and left.  When I went to actually use the dishwasher several hours later, the door wouldn't open.  It turns out there's a piece of flashing on our cabinet that the installer put back on last, which needed to be modified in order for the door to open properly.  They didn't do it or say anything to us about it.  I had to go modify the flashing...Time, about 1 hour additional.
When I brought this to the attention of Lowe's, it took the manager 3 days to get back to me to tell me that since we "signed off" on the install, they would not do anything in terms of compensating me for my time. 
Lowe's (and their affiliate) does not perform quality installations, and will not rectify an improper installation once brought to their attention.  I will not be using Lowe's services again.

HAD TO HAVE CARPETS ORDERED AND INSTALLED. THE SELECTION OF CARPETS IS HUGE; MANY GRADES OF QUALITY TO PICK FROM. SALESMAN NOT VERY HELPFUL WITH THE SELECTION; LEAVES IT UP TO CUSTOMER WITH NOT MUCH INPUT. HELPFUL WITH THE ORDERING AND SETTING UP THE DATE FOR INSTALLATION. INSTALLATION CREW WERE VERY HARD WORKING AND HAD THE ROOM CARPETED RATHER QUICKLY. WOULD USE THEM AGAIN; PLEASED WITH THE END PRODUCT.

COMPARATIVE SHOPPED VIA STORES AND ON LINE FOR A SPECIFIC CEILING FAN. FOUND IN LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE (NOT ON SALE) BUT THE BEST PRICE AROUND. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE HELP TOO!!

THE PRICE ON THE CARPET, PADDING & INSTALLATION WAS VERY COMPETITIVE - ON SALE! LOWE'S WAS GREAT AT SCHEDULING THE INSTALLATION, ALTHOUGH THEIR SUBCONTRACTOR ENDED UP CANCELLING THE FIRST INSTALLATION DATE. LOWE'S FOLLOWED UP UNTIL IT WAS COMPLETED, HOWEVER.

THEY WERE PROMPT. THE SERVICE WAS COURTEOUS.
