The whole process from start to finish was fabulous! They helped us work thru the process of having the granite install, answered any questions and gave great advice to help make sure our install went smoothly. They were very timely with the install and very accommodating with changes due to our conflict. I would definitely use them again!!
They also damaged some drywall when removing the granite, and this will need to be repaired.
There are many companies offering granite services that stand by their work, and I would not recommend using this company.
It was a good experience. We were in a bind and needed it quickly and they were able to do that for us.
The installation was done before Thanksgiving 2010 and went well.
There was one "misunderstanding". We wanted the lip of the granite, how much it extends from the counter, to be 2". We made it a point to let the person doing the measuring know and were assured it would be 2". After installation we found it was 1.5". About 1 month after installation we noticed two small cracks in the backsplash. I stopped by their store and told them about it. They promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair.
About a month later, with no calls from anyone, I went back to store and asked if they could do anything about it. They promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair.
About a month after that, with no calls from anyone, I went back to store and asked if they could do anything about it. They promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair.
About a month after that, with no calls from anyone (notice a pattern developing?), I went back to store. This time I spoke with the older gentleman (I assume he is the owner). When I told him about the previous times his comment was "You are talking to me now" and promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair.
A month after that, with no calls from anyone (and getting tired of the runaround), I went back to store and asked them again. They promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair. This time someone did call me. On Friday before Memorial Day. At 5:00 PM!!!! We were on our way out of town so they promised to call back and arrange a different time.
Still waiting for that call!
From my perspective, if service after the sale is important to you, look elsewhere.
