Came out and did some tests. Took board and power supply back to office and ran more tests. Both components tested good but when he put back together it was still not working. Found that backlights were problem which is an unfixable repair. Didn’t charge me for extra trip back to my home or for all the time involved. I only paid for initial service call. Not to mention I live 50 minutes from his office. Very honorable to not try to charge me any extra even with all the driving involved

I contacted Joe's TV Repair on a Tuesday to describe my issue on my 60" Samsung Plasma tv. He asked me detailed questions and had me send the model number to him which I did the next day. He was able to come to my home that day and resolved my issue. I have to give this company credit because I was concerned he'd have to come back the next day or something. All is well with my tv now and I'm glad I contacted this company. Would definitely recommend and call again.

I call the published phone number. Joe called me back within an hour or two. I described the issue. He described the assessment/repair process. All low-pressure. He charges $60 to assess the issue. If you hire him after the assessment, the $60 is applied towards the total bill. He only does work at your location. We set up an appointment a day or two later. He was here about 30 minutes and determined that the main computer board was faulty. Since my TV was 8 years old, he did not believe he could find a new board. He is connected with a technician who repairs boards. He removed my board on a Monday and came back on a Thursday to install it. TV is working perfectly fine.

Joe did his homework based on the problem I described and came to my house with the parts needed for the repair. The repair was done fairly quickly and with just one minor hiccup with getting the right HDMI port connections...which was quickly rectified. I loved the fact that the repair was done right in my home as others needed to remove the TV for an estimate and unspecified period of time.

Excellently! Joe was able to come out to my house in West Chester the day after I called him. He diagnosed the problem, which was that a board needed to be rebuilt. (Joe advised rebuilding the board rather than replacing it. Any replacement board would be as old as the original board, and, furthermore, he could rebuild with it with better quality components than were originally installed.) He took the board with him (not the entire TV) and returned the following week with the rebuilt board, exactly on the day he predicted he would return. Now, all is back to normal! He gave his work a one-year warranty.

I reached out to Joe when our TV started to cycle on/off. He came out the same day and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He took every step to find us the most affordable, longest lasting solution. I felt that he was professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. June 21, 2017 Joe responded to my (e-mail) request the same day I posted it. He established the day and time of his arrival (next day). He was prompt, professional and friendly. He removed the back of my TV and rapidly discovered the problem. No picture due to moisture on wiring. He quickly fixed the problem and made sure the picture on the TV screen was working, before he left. I will not hesitate to highly recommend his service when asked for a quality TV repair person. Also, the repair cost was less than the cost of buying a new TV.

Joe was extremely responsive, even making the time to come out on a Sunday. He was punctual, professional, and extremely helpful with helping me understand what actually went wrong with the tv, explaining the fix, and then taking the time to educate me on how to make sure the same problem didn't happen again. His service was absolutely great, and would definitely recommend again.

He disassembled the TV and took half back to his shop. He called a few times and didn't seem to know how to fix the power board. I ended up buying a new TV. He never returned the half of the TV he took to his shop. He did call and ask if he could have the half left at our home. Seemed fishy. Got nothing for what we paid.

"I contacted the customer and scheduled an appointment which I arrived at on time. I evaluated the TV and found the main board to be the problem, not the power board as stated by the customer. I didn't remove half of the TV, I only removed the defective main board from the TV and took it back to my shop because Panasonic no longer makes this board (which I told the customer at his house before removing the board). I called multiple times so the customer was aware that I was trying to find a way to fix this board but since Panasonic wouldn't provide the service parts it was very unlikely it could be repaired. I kept in touch with the customer through the whole process and even tried to located the part overseas. After trying for quite some time I told the customer there was nothing that could be done without the replacement parts and it couldn't be fixed. I was told they would replace the TV, so I asked if they wanted me to dispose of the rest of the unit so it was recycled properly and not just thrown in the trash which would then end up in a landfill. They said they would handle it. I'm pretty sure it probably ended up in the trash. They paid for an estimate ($59) and were never charged one penny more. How much more was I expected to do if Panasonic won't provide replacement parts?"

The scheduling was easy. He showed up on time, walked through the diagnostics with me, explained the nature of the problem and how he will fix it. A part or two had to be order and when they came in he returned a fixed the TV. It's works like new. I would certainly hire him back.

Joe was very responsive, set up a service visit quickly, came over and diagnosed a fairly complex power shortcut problem on one of the two power boards. He was able to get the part repaired, the cost was very reasonable (especially compared to the cost of a new TV!), and he cheerfully explained all the work he did. He was prompt, professional, and worked very carefully and neatly. I would certainly call him again for any TV problems!

Joe was very professional, prompt and clean. He knew what he was doing and explained everything to us. We decided to go with the repair in addition to just the diagnostic work. He returned within a few days to install the repaired part (new parts are no longer available) and put everything back together. He even helped us ground it better so hopefully we won't have the problem again

After I purchased a service on Angie's List, Joe called me within 24 hours to arrange the appointment.  He showed up when he said he would (on Good Friday even).  He assessed the problem with my TV quickly and told me how much the repairs would be.  He was able to quickly make the repair onsite.  The TV is as good as new. 


Joe was very professional and friendly.  If/when I have another TV issue, he will definitely be my first call.
