Tom first tried to rescue our old furnace, as we kept having problems he recommended we get a new one. He recommended a high efficiency boiler, which is what we got. He was competent, polite, clean, knowledgeable, conscientious, responsive to any questions, we have only good things to say about him and his workmanship. We are very happy with the new boiler and choice of contractor. Tom installed our split AC system a few years back, and we are very happy with this too.

Have known Tom for a while and he has always came through for me when needed. Recently my heater stopped working and he came out after hours to check it out. He figured out the issue and had a part ordered the next day when the supplier opened, came back when the part came in and made sure it was done right and even took the time to explain what he was doing. I've had multiple issues with the way my HVAC system was originally installed by a different company. Tom has helped every time and always made sure it was fixed properly. I will never look any further than Finn Mechanical for my HVAC needs. Tom is professional, smart, reasonable, and straight forward with everything he does.

Since purchasing my new unit we are finding our house a lot warmer, using a lower temperature. ( my old system I had to use 74° all the time). With the programmable thermostat we can save money each month by setting a timer and lowering the temperature is when we're not home. Everything worked fine, the work was done efficiently and professionally without any disturbance to us. We got a Mitsubishi ductless AC system installed two years ago by Tom Finn. Back then he worked in partnership with Jerry Schiavo at Temp-Rite, who recently retired. Tom has now his own company, Finn Mechanical. When he installed the system (11 indoor and 3 outdoor units) we were impressed by his competence, efficiency and excellent workmanship, dealing with an old house and its quirks and challenges. We are happy to continue to work with him.
