CMI Fire Sprinkler Corporation

Every interaction with CMI, including setting up the appointment, scheduling follow-ups, estimate, and the repair job itself, was extremely professional, punctual, and courteous. Our sprinkler system was in a state of disrepair when we moved into the house a few months ago: pendents were excessively jutting out from the upstairs ceiling, sprinkler heads were broken, and the black steel components at the riser near the tanks were black and leaking. The estimate process was very thorough. Nicholas identified an additional issue with two recalled heads that had been missed during a previous house update (one of these was hidden above a false ceiling), as well as a missing spare head box (per code). The job itself took place over two days (delayed only by a part needing to be ordered for the riser repair) and was finished faster than the estimate predicted. Nicholas and his colleague worked efficiently, correcting the skewed pendants with proper braces, replacing missing skirts, replacing two or three broken heads, replacing the recalled heads (and bringing the hidden one cleanly through a basement ceiling tile so it's actually useful!), repairing the leaking riser plumbing, and adding the missing spare head box to the wall by the basement system. All of the important items were addressed. It is worth noting that he did not try to push any repairs that I didn't need, and he even made an effort to clean up the staining on the floor underneath where the leak was repaired. He tested our antifreeze, which was still good; it was returned to the system. Finally, he returned the system to service and tested it, checking all of the lines and heads twice after the repair to make sure everything was right. The final invoice came in significantly cheaper than the estimate because the job took less time than expected. I would definitely use CMI again and will likely call them back for routine maintenance of the system. P.S. If you look at the pictures, the ding in the ceiling drywall from the pendant repositioning was there previous to CMI's visit, caused sometime in the past.

Showed up when promised, performed the repair  flawlessly.
