TruGreen Lawn Care - 5809

Started out ok.....,showed up on time the first 3 treatments.....took less than 5 minutes to treat my property with the hose.....but did not see any improvement..in fact I started get a round brown patch that continued to grow in size. I filled out a request on their website stating The issue I was having which they would look into on their next visit. Only problem is......almost 12 weeks later I have not seen or heard from them (normal time between treatments is 4 to 6 weeks). Have emailed multiple times as well as called customer service for weeks.....waiting for any manager to call me........which never happened. I am partially disabled or I would have done it myself.

For each service it’s about $35. I have them on an on-going basis at my home.

I pay by the year and they give me a deal because I have two properties. They come out with a spray thing and do weed control. It's not a big deal. At the end of the season, the lawn looks good. I just get the basic service. I don't get any extras. It's find. They are a professional company, and I trust that they do the work. I used to go down to the property to check, but I haven't done that for awhile. They usually leave a thing on the post saying they have been there and did whatever they did.?I am just trusting and assuming they are doing it. They assign a person to me that I can contact if I have any specific problems anything I need to discuss. They gave me my own personal person to contact. I haven't done it yet because i haven't really needed to. They were fine. It is kind of routine. I use them every year.

It's fine. They are great. They call me when they are going to come. They want to make sure the gate is open. They leave you a recorded message. You don't have to be there. They just inform you that they are coming. I have two properties that I use them for. They come and do whatever it is that they do, and that's it. I pay them by the year. They also assigned me a person that I can contact if I have any issues or any specific problems, or anything I need to discuss. They gave me my own person to contact. I haven't done it yet, because I haven't really needed to.It is routine, they come out and do whatever they do. It is not complicated.

I had another provider prior to Tru Green.  Ironically, I had Tru Green for several years and I wasn't satisfied with the shrubbery service so I switched to the other provider and I was more satisfied, and they merged and became Tru Green again.  So far, I'm satisfied with the service.  I have no complaints about the service.  It was fine.  If I had one complaint, it was they're supposed to call, give me at least a day's notice before the treatments and they had been doing that, but they didn't do it for the shrubbery, which was the last treatment.  To me, that's important because I need to schedule ... you know, I do my own cutting and trimming and have grandchildren over.  I want to be sure that I know when the service is gonna ... you know, when the stuff's gonna be applied.  I would still give them an overall A; that was the first time they did not call in the last year or so.  On price, I really don't have any hard comparisons there; I'm sure I could find somebody cheaper.  I could get somebody that pulls up in a station wagon.  On quality, I would say B.  We've got some serious problems with the shrubbery that existed before I had them, and apparently - I believe them - it's very hard to treat.  I understand that I can't call up and say you have to come out and spray this bug today, so they're usually out in a reasonable amount of time if I have special issues.  They have a window for each of the treatments; as far as I know they don't miss the window.  For professionalism, the guys doing the treatments, I would say an A.  It's expensive.  I think the  shrubbery treatments are around $67 and the lawn treatments $47.  I'm gonna be using them all this season.  I don't have any plans to switch this season. 

Lawn guy basically left bill on door and barely applied any product. Allegedly treated whole lawn on 3 minutes per receipt. They sent someone out after I had to call and demand to talk to supervisor. They had identified this tech was not providing service but they never did anything to him because he was still working. bottom line if you can't be home and basically stand outside and watch them do everything you are paying for, go elsewhere. I would never use agai and not recommend. Basically I got entire season refunded but way too much aggravation

They are good, but not great. They are pretty cheap. They charge me $63 which isn't bad because it would cost me $50 to buy it, and do it myself. 

They really did a lot of the weeds and my lawn looks good, but there are still some problems with it that I can't get resolved, that's why I cant get them an A.

They're fine. My yard looks great. I think they're honest and they give reminder calls and they give nice promotional deals. I think I could probably find a better deal.

Did not show up for 2 appointments.  However, they quickly refunded my money.  I am satisfied that they resolved my issue.

It was okay with them.  The fertilizer seems to work well and the re-control is okay and grass control seems to be okay.  A couple of days back we had a call saying we need a re-appliaction here or give us a call before you come just so we can get the pets out of the yard.  They coordinate things and generally they are pretty good on telling us when they are coming out.  Once or twice they had to re-schedule for some reasons we cancelled and we were not informed.  But all in all, they have been okay.

Great! They do a good job. They call in advance before coming. I would recommend them.

They were fine.  I've been working with them for five years.  The cost is relative to the area. 

They always call before they come.My lawn is always green and thick.I have 2 trees in the yard that need special treatment and they will make sure that is done.

mmmOur lawn looks HORRIBLE. Has bare spots like it was napalmed. THey can't use patch. They only use certain chemicals at certain times. I have had 3 managers out to look at it. Still horrible. Then DH paid for a year in advance to get a "deal" That only covers some of the services, but, even though they have $150 of our money that they haven't given us anything for, they sent it to their collections who call daily to harrass us, even though we've only had the bill for 2 weeks. They are rude and obnoxious.  I pay $63/month plus more for their extra services that they do and just leave a note on the door..too bad, you owe us more money even though we didn't want you to do this...haha.....It is impossible to stop them from continuing to put toxins on our lawn. THey continue to add up the bill. Our lawn is the WORST in our development and I pay money and get harrassed.  I cannot warn people to stay away from this SCAM of providing services that I didn't want and billing. and having a horrible lawn. looks like mud or dirt.  DO they have a negative 5 million rating.

Unsatisfied with service - resulted in some brown areas.  They did not discontinue treating lawn even after specifically instructing supervisor to do so.  Continued to apply chemicals without providing advance notice and charged me for this unauthorized treatment.

Trouble contacting office. Used to contact malvern office.switched to "central" office. Was decent service now almost can't get message through. Communication difficulties made me waste time having to call again and again. I get in trouble for personal  at work.this company cost me in bad reviews for having to call them over and over while boss listening. They were better prior year before they "centralized" the call center. When will corporations learn that customer service matters most?!?!??

I was called the day before and told that the application was going to be applied the next day, weather permitting.  The application was applied the next day.  I did not have to be there.  Property gate was secured as usual.  No problem at all.

They are very consistent and reliable.  I am happy with all their whole service.  Overall they are very professional and do the job right.
