We hired this company to regrade and seed the back of our property that was done poorly by another company. They corrected the pitch away from our house and regraded perfectly. They seeded and we already have a green back lawn! This company is very professional and the crew was very competent and courteous. They did a beautiful job. They even pruned and shaped some shrub without us asking. Everything was perfect. We would highly recommend them.

Beautiful job. On the expensive side but, as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for!"

I am extremely satisfied with the job they did on the patio. The bluestone was thick and the real stuff... it was all random sized and they removed and placed in the yard in the same pattern. They did a perfect job re-leveling and compacting back down and adjusted back to a good grade so that the water drains again. I will be using them again for additional bluestone fixes and additional 600sf section we are looking to add. Overall, tough complex job that was managed perfectly with a solid result.

I was paying Think Green Fertilizing for my summer lawn treatments which included grub control. This turned out to be a big ripoff. A large area in the rear yard was completely destroyed by grubs. K & K quickly identified the problem. They hand raked all the dead grass and top layer of dirt, about 500 lbs and removed it. Then they treated it to kill the grubs, aerate and seed. To accomplish this they use professional lawn care products, not Home Depot consumer crap. I was very pleased with the service they provided and will use them for my summer lawn treatments. They guarantee their grub treatment, if you get them they'll treat and repair the damaged lawn area for free.

They did that on about 8 different occasions through the year.  The last time they were here was December.  It was a thousand dollars for the ten applications.  Their performance was adversely affected by a drought we had back in May and June which is very unusual.  When they were done there were lots of bare spots in my lawn and I had to go out and do a lot of feeding and work and they wanted to do stuff in the next year and I said there too expensive.  The grass didn't really grow in and they just didn't adapt their program to the climate conditions.  I think punctuality is irrelevant because they can just do it when they want to do it.  I won't use them in the future because in my opinion it's not something you need to do every year.  I was kind of disappointed with the results and I called and I told them that.  They should be more responsive to weather conditions.  If they were I think I would have had a better result. 

They were very good to work with. I would definitely use them in the future.

I was very satisfied with them. It was a reasonable price and it looked great afterwards. They were in and out, did a good job quickly and everything looked fine. They were really good, the property looks great. 
The price was good and was very reasonable for the work that they did. They came when they said they were going to come.

As far as the quoting process they were very good.  They were knowledgeable in everything.  They were pretty responsive.

We chose K&K Landscaping for one reason; well two if you count that we found them on Angie's List.  Their quote, quite simply, offered the most work for the lowest price.  From the initial request for a quote, to the visit by the K&K representative, continuing through the process of deciding (changing our minds a few times) on the materials and methods to be used, and finally through getting the actual work done, K&K was a delight to work with.  We received good advice about how to proceed and were allowed great flexibility while we settled on exactly what we wanted done.  
The K&K representative always returned calls promptly, kept multiple appointments we had to discuss the project, and worked with us to answer our questions about planting materials and how the project would proceed.  Armed with good advice about plant sizes and shapes and best planting environment, we enjoyed being able to visit the local garden center to choose and tag the exact plants we wanted K&K to use.  We also visited K&K to choose the boulders we wanted placed in the new garden. We took photos, emailed them to K&K, and those materials are all now part of our gardens.  I truly believe that, even if we did not choose the materials ourselves, K&K would have created a very pleasing landscape.  I say this because there were a number of things we did not specify, but rather, relied upon K&K to handle.  There is not one thing we would have done differently.  In fact K&K did a number of extra little things that were not even included in the quote...like cut out and re-mulch a young tree bed and include a number of fall plants.  The repaired EP Henry retaining wall is perfect?straight, tightly laid, color matched, and like new.
We could not be happier with the work done!  Our front yard is now a thing of beauty...and our house is protected from
vehicles running onto our property.
To all landscapers who may be reviewing these entries for ideas, please keep in mind, "a picture is worth a thousand
words!"  K&K's initial proposal included images of our house (taken by the K&K rep on his first visit) with actual images of the
boulders and plantings as they would look at the project's completion.  Though the images were just a suggestion of how things would look, and indeed we made many changes, they really gave a good sense of the finished work and what our place would look like once completed.  Besides the price and the work promised for that price, the images were a big driver in our decision to use K&K.
In summary, K&K was represented professionally, offered a fair price, allowed us hands-on design flexibility,
was patient with our changing requests, completed the work in the time specified (one day!), left the work area clean and tidy, and created a beautiful landscape around the front and side of our home....for the price quoted.  Don't see how any consumer could ask for more!

They did a really good job.  They were punctual, they were very efficient, and the end product looked really nice.  We had very few little minor complaints at the end of the job.

Excellent work

They also put new mulch in my plant and flower beds last May. I have a lot of beds and I think it took about 14 yards of mulch. The service was excellent. I have used many landscaping before but these people did what they said and came when they were supposed to. They also do my lawn mowing and they have been just great compared to what I was dealing with before. Their cleanup was great and their price was good.

Excellent -  The crew arrived on time and prepared to begin removing the concrete and prepping the area to install the pavers.   They worked extremely hard in 100 degree weather and completed taking the concrete out and preparing the area to but the pavers in the following day.  They worked to complete the project in the 2 day time frame that they had quoted us and also sodded the lawn area to accommodate making the walk area larger.  I will be using K&K again in the spring to help with planting.

Kevin did an excellent job with the design, including plants that we requested along with others that he recommended.  As part of the proposal, he provided us with computer-generated images created from photos he took of our house, showing what the finished product would look like from different views.  The proposal was provided when he said it would be.  The work started on time, and was completed in 4 days as estimated.  The first day, the crew worked from about 8:30 a.m. until almost 7:00 p.m.  They were very hard workers, and Kyle kept us informed of the progress every day.  Kevin responded to our e-mails very quickly before, during, and after the project.  K&K did a beautiful job of transforming our front yard and walkway.  We have received many compliments from friends and neighbors since the job was completed.  I highly recommend their work!
