Jim and JVC Decks were prompt, friendly, and extremely professional. It is evident that they are knowledgeable and produce high-quality work, which they stand by.

It was a good experience. I would refer them to anybody, it was the best experience we’ve had with any contractor, ever.

Jim provided us a plan and modified as we asked as we wanted an enhanced look of a picture frame deck  along with lighting incorporated into the deck. Jim provided gudiance in color selection including guidance on railing, lighting, ballister and deck colors combination. Jim was highly responsive when questions arose before they started the deck and was clear with the cost of the work. Jim and is team showed up when they said they would and was professional throughout the week they spent working on the deck. His crew worked efficiently in placing footings, ledger board, deck and railings. Work was done on time as estimated.  When issues were found with some of the decking boards was found Jim assured that proper defect free material was provided from the suppluer to assure that the quaility of the deck was as expected. This delayed the completion of the deck a day or two but I appreciate that the materials was replaced quickly with quality material.  The deck looks great and demonstrates expert craftmanship of his team's work. I would recommed JVCs work to anyone who wants to have a deck done.

We could not be happier with the work that Jim and his crew did for us! When we 1st met Jim for the estimate he was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very thorough. As soon as he left, I knew he was the right contractor for us. His employees Al and Steve take a lot of pride in their work and the finished product EXCEEDED our expectations. Our General contractor was on site replacing our siding, and he commented numerous times that he was very impressed with Jim and his crew. I should mention that I did have 4 other contractors come and look at what we wanted done, but I am thrilled that we went with JVC!

After 17 years of stripping, sanding, washing and re-staining our cedar deck, it was time to get a composite deck.  After extensive research, we decided on TimberTech decking. While researching TimberTech deck installers, the name that consistently surfaced was Jim Conlon of JVC Custom Decks.
Without a doubt, dealing with Jim was the best contractor experience we've ever had. Jim was personable, always available for questions (before, during and after the job), and RETURNED calls....quickly! His guidance and recommendations were spot on. To his credit, his technicians, Al & Steve, were always on time, courteous, neat and worked tirelessly. Jim, his crew and the final product exceeded our expectations in every way! Without hesitation, I recommend Jim Conlon.

It was awesome!!! They have a 3 man team. It was like all 3 were the owner. They were friendly and courteous and professional! They kept my yard as clean as they could for my dog. I felt as if they were working on their own house. Nothing was and quot; good enough and quot;. It was either right or they redid it until is was right. I originally thought their price was fair for what I wanted. I was wrong. They exceeded my expectations by a lot! What a great deal I got! They even helped me put our new furniture and BarBeQue on the deck. My wife and I couldn't be happier! I would be happy to show off my deck to anyone!!!

This was the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. From the initial sales call, where we became acquainted with the company and the work they do and the products they offer, to the demolition of the old deck, to the building of the new, to the final inspection, they did fabulous work. The owner, James Conlon, actually does the work himself, accompanied by his crew. They were always on time, did beautiful work and left the property in pristine clean condition.

Our deck looks fabulous and we are so glad we hired them for the job. I cannot express just how pleased we are with the entire experience from beginning to end. Our deck could not be better in any way. A spectacular job!
