We were left in a tough spot when our original contractor bailed on our basement renovation, leaving the project unfinished. Thankfully, I was connected with Abi and his company, Colibri Construction LLC. From the very first walkthrough, Abi took the time to explain how he would handle the remaining work and get everything back on track. One of Abi’s strongest qualities is his clear and consistent communication. He was always accessible by phone, kept me updated throughout the project, and offered thoughtful ideas and suggestions along the way. Unlike many contractors I’ve dealt with in the past, Abi always showed up on time and completed the job within the schedule he set. The quality of his work was top-notch, and the finished basement exceeded my expectations. Communication and reliability are everything in a contractor, and Abi truly delivered on both. If you have the chance to hire Abi for your next home project, do it—you will not regret it.

He was very knowledgeable which brought me comfort that my basement would turn out amazing and it was. The paint detail alone was impeccable as well as the placement of the flooring. Colibri was excellent. They worked around my schedule, and made the house look new again. They even fixed my front door, which has not been closing right for years.

I am extremely happy with the job that was done! My doors look brand new as well as my ramp, shutters and house! And they clean up well when the job is done!

Great, quick, efficient, good craftsmanship

We hired Colibri Construction to remove several layers of paint from our fireplace. It was a terrible job that we'd botched after trying to do it ourselves. When Abi was finished, the result was exactly what I'd wanted -- gently distressed brick that warmed up the whole room. He did a fantastic job, but not only that -- he was reliable, and communicated with me every step of the way.

They were perfect and got the job done efficiently. Costumer service was great.
