"I feel it necessary to comment on the recent review you gave my company. In response to your statement regarding the 9 weeks it took us to get to your job; it was clearly stated on your Proposal that it would be a "minimum of 6 to 8 weeks for installation upon receipt of your signed Proposal and deposit, however weather conditions, manufacturers delays or job site delays may extend that time frame." Taking into consideration the amount of rain we have had, I feel 9 weeks was very reasonable. In response to the crew taking numerous breaks; they are allowed a morning break, a lunch break and an afternoon break. You also stated that the job was a 1 day installation, however, in checking the work sheet on the original estimate it was always proposed as a minimum of 2 days. I say minimum because you never know what you are going to encounter when excavating posts holes for a new fence installation. You then state that after day 2 only 3 panels of your new fence had been erected by lunchtime but neglect to say that the crew had removed your existing fence and prepared the jobsite for the new fence to be installed. You state that "magically after you complained the rest of the fence went up minus one panel, gate & caps in 3 hours, but earlier that day and the prior day practically nothing had been accomplished." Once again, we would like to emphasize, that day and a half when nothing was accomplished was when your existing fence was removed, fence line prep was done, and all fence holes were dug. Please keep in mind, the majority of the holes were dug by hand instead of using the machine due to the wet conditions in your yard, which in turn added time to the installation. It is true there were water issues on your property coming from a sump pump. So, on one hand you were upset about the 9 week time frame, but on the other hand you felt we should have waited for a dry week to install your fence. We did call previously to schedule the installation, and on the first day out we walked the job site with Shaun and it was never stated that we should wait for dryer conditions. As far as one of the crew members relieving himself on your neighbor's property; as I stated in our phone conversation, there will be disciplinary action taken for that unacceptable behavior. On final inspection of the project with Garrett (the estimator) none of his pictures substantiate your claims of ruts in the ground or messed up new stone around the pool. There was however a shoe print on your landscape stone and mud splatter on the bottom of some of the posts. The pictures we have also indicate freshly excavated soil between the fence line and the alley, but not a "mud pit" as stated by you. As far as Garrett being not helpful and argumentative as well as myself, I couldn't disagree more. You said if I received more bad reports like this, I would be willing to do more for you. I disagree. Even though I did not see evidence of it, I asked how you were damaged. You stated your husband had to buy supplies and spend time cleaning up our mess and then said you wanted a credit on the bill, to which I asked if I could see the receipts to what was spent. I would therefore consider as a gesture of goodwill. When speaking to your husband I also asked him what was spent and he is the one that asked for $100 off the bill. I thought that was excessive for a bag of grass seed and straw, but I did oblige. I do not pride myself on being the cheapest. I do take pride in installing a quality product, in a timely manner, for a competitive price. You state that only happy customers matter to me. Nothing could be further from the truth! ALL CUSTOMERS MATTER!"

"Thank you for your review. We greatly appreciate the feedback!"
We bought a home in October of this year and wanted to have a fence installed for our dog. We called a few different fencing places but went with Tri-Boro because of their product, price, time line and friendliness.
We called and set up an appointment, which was kept and on time. We had a price and time frame along with the insurance certificate we asked for within a 24 hour period.
The installation of the fence was started on time but due to a snow storm with ice, it had to be delayed for 2 days. The weather for the next week was in the teens, with the chill factor in the minus degrees and I was not expecting anyone to show but they did!
The two men who were installing the fence showed up and informed me that a second team would be out so they could finish the job. My hat is off to all of these men who worked in this weather to finish the job and did a great job.
We are very happy with Tri-Boro Fencing and our dog is having a great time in her new yard with a fence that keeps her safe.
Thank You!
"Yes I did a site visit and did get a e-mail that she did not receive our estimate, at that time we sent her another copy of the estimate . When we do not hear from a potential client we can only assume that the project is on hold till a later date or that the estimate is not accepted. I do not pressure a customer to accept a bid with numerous phone calls , but I am starting a policy of having e-mail follow ups and mailing hard copies to avoid this from happening again, in closing I apologize for the mix up and wish you the best of luck with your project. Steven J. Yost Sr."
