Very professional, listened to my needs! Provided service according to my requirements, without exception! Excellent job done!!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone— I had a driveway in about three hours!!! They also have a two year warranty!

Richard Diehl Jr was very nice. He came to give me an estimate which sounded good especially since he really understood what I wanted done. My driveway was completed on May 28th, 2021 and although I love the way it looks, there’s one problem which explains my reasoning for giving 3 stars instead of 5. On June 4th, I reached out and sent him a video message. We had gotten a lot of rain that day and noticed there’s a lot of water going towards the foundation of our house. The fact that it rains a lot where we live is why this is urgent for us to get corrected. Richard said he would come to correct this issue by creating some sort of asphalt curve to direct the water away from the house which honestly should have been done when the job was completed. The problem is that so far no one has come to fix this issue so every time it rains, water is potentially damaging my foundation. Once this issue is corrected, I will update my review.

Richard Diehl Paving is a GREAT company to work with. They responded within hours, with a visit the house and provide a quote. Not the lease expensive, not the most expensive, they were in the middle. They gave me the date for the work to be completed, during the quoting process. They even showed up on that date, WOW. 6 - 7 workers and they ALL knew what to do. The team worked very well. They prepared the 3,600 sq ft drive way and paved it with three inches of asphalt in a 4 hour visit. Work is flawless. 10 thumbs up for the Richard Diehl Paving company.

We called and the son of the owner (the one that does driveways) came on Sat. at the time he promised and gave us an estimate within 2 days.  (We called another company and it took them 5 days for estimate and much higher than this company).

They then told us when they could do it and showed up right on time early morning and went to work. All the people seemed to know exactly what to do and there was no ordering or yelling at the workers as to what to do. Everyone went about their job and there was absolutely no problems.  I asked for a little extra patch put in that I'd forgotten and they did it  no problem..

They did everything they said they'd do and when they left, our property and the one across the street (staging area & where we parked our cars & they parked their equipment) ) was clean and no problems left behind.  The owner was very friendly and let us pay in full after we knew it was to our liking.

We love our new driveway and have had compliments on the neat appearance it has and the way it was done.

I would recommend them. THE ONLY qualifier I have is you have to be patient with them as they seem to have no central person to co-ordinate who you saw with the name of the person or what stage your particular job is at the moment. BUT other than that--they were great. Would go to them again.

The provider did not provide the driveways as promised and as contracted.  Initially it was observed that the one driveway was not aligned with the existing fence.  The driveway was supposed to run parallel with the fence but it didn't.  It was obviously much closer to the fence and the one end and much farther away from the fence at the other--and the affect was not pleasing to the eye.  Within just two months of installation both driveways began to buckle in some areas and to sink in other areas.  Cracking was evident throughout the entire surfaces of both driveways and by the end of the first summer (just 3 months) the edges of the driveways were cracking and falling off and chunks of asphalt were coming out of the middle of the driveway--and as the pieces of asphalt were picked up and removed it became evident in both driveways that the rolled asphalt was less than 1"thick in some areas and 1 1/2" thick in other areas and not the 6" promised.  Also when the asphalt was lifted away it was observed that it was sitting directly on clay and soil--not the compacted stone substrate.  When I contacted him about the issues he came out and inspected the problems but he did not address them.  I called him numerous times and sent him letters asking for help in fixing the issues and he started to act like I was causing him a problem.  I threatened a lawsuit and he still would not correct the issues.  I took him to court and won the lawsuit against him and then at the urging of his lawyer and the panel of judges he agreed to come out to my property and resurface the driveways with a new 6" of asphalt to be put down over the old asphalt.  On the day he arrived he advised that he would only resurface one of the driveways and that i would have to take him to court again if I wanted the 2nd driveway fixed.  (It cost me $6000.00 to bring the lawsuit and win and I could not afford another court battle.)  Richard Diehl is not the hard working Christian man that he claims to be.

A+, no problems with this contractor.  A pleasure to work with.

Richard gave us a very fair price and also gave us a discount from a coupon he had in a newspaper that I was not aware of.  He didn't have to do that.  From the moment I called for an estimate Richard was very polite and professional.  I compared three other companies, Richard came in with the best price but that's not what sold me, it was his professionalism.
