Chuck Dicarlo Ceramic Tile

Chuck and his team are a complete pleasure to work with. The quality of work is excellent; Chuck had some great ideas about design/layout as well. Tiling work was REALLY well done. They don't cut any corners. Dust was kept to a minimum and they laid down drop cloths every time they worked. Chuck has very, very high standards and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction.

I am extremely happy with both jobs.  In the kitchen I was not sure what I wanted with the glass decorative inserts and they placed them randomly as I suggested and when I decided to make a minor change in what they had done before grouting, it was not a problem.   For the bathroom, the demo was completed in one day and they dealt with the uneven walls of this old house very professionally re-installing the 18x18 tiles in the tub and floor so they look fantastic and are very solid.   Chuck is very actively involved with his crew and is a perfectionist in his work and  insists that the customer gets just what they want.  I highly recommend Chuck DiCarlo!  Chuck's prices are reasonable.

Chuck came out and game me an estimate and told me exactly what to order from the tile store where I had picked out the tile.  His 2 workers arrived on time and did excellent work installing the tile.  I wasn't sure how I wanted the glass inserts and they put it ramdom as I had requested and I loved it but behind the stove it seemed too bare.  Before they grouted the tile they were able to change the backsplash and another small area so it is now perfect!  Chuck was in contact with his workers and prides himself on quality- I plan to hire them again for my bathroom floor within the year.

We were so impressed with the shower area workmanship we contracted him to re-tile the walls and bathroom floor. The work was outstanding!!! Along the way Chuck helped us to decide certain aspects of accessories and ideas surrounding the choice of tile based on his experience & expertise. We even had him replace the entry slab and window sill to match the tile installed. Can't say enough about Chuck and his team who were friendly, courteous, knowledgable and professional. We again contracted Chuck & his team to re-tile our powder room we were so impressed with them. I always got the sense that he was a friend rather than a contractor. His focus was on the job and our complete satisfaction. Again, outstanding workmanship and a pleasure to deal with.

Chuck didn't make a big deal out of the work. He re-grouted the areas that needed to be taken care and came back a few weeks later to check that the work was taking care of the leak problem.

Chuck was great to deal with and I think the employee who the job did a good job replacing a damaged tile floor.  The grout work was a little sloppy in one spot but we were able to scrape off the excess. Otherwise, it looked  great.  His prices were reasonable, he showed up when he said he would and the job took as long as he said it would.  I don't mean to suggest that Chuck was unresponsive by giving him a B in that category.  He always returned my calls and emails promptly but I felt like I had to be a bit of a pest to get the job schedule.  I attributed it the fact that it was a small job.

They did an excellent job.  All the tiles are straight.  He went above and beyond in getting the tile we wanted.  The tile was on back-order for about 2 weeks and he contacted two distributors to get us the tile we wanted.  He also completed the work on time and we were comfortable having them in our home in our home.  They cleaned up well after themselves and they took preventative measures  to avoid damage to our existing floors and walls.  We had done our research in regards to costs on this project and found them to be very competitive with other service providers.  We would recommend their service to others.

The tiled floor of the shower needed replacement. I had used Chuck DiCarlo a few years prior for grout replacement so I called him and he promptly came over to give me an estimate and set a date for work to begin. The job became more than he or I expected as there was a leak in the underlying pan and cement with more than minor reconstruction necessary (including utilization of my plumber and glass shower wall repositioning). Even though the tile I chose was late in arrival, Chuck was able to complete the work on schedule before thanksgiving and it looks great. I would recommend him without reservation.

He's been doing our tile work for 10 years.  He's highly trusted, skilled, proven track record, cost effective, and meticulous. He's about the best I've ever seen.  He's also a general contractor.  He personally does the tile work, then he brings in sub-contractors for electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, and drywall and taping.  If he doesn't like his work, he'll rip it up and do it over again.  When he says he's going to be here, he is.  I can't speak highly enough of Chuck; he's really one of the best.
