Mr. Fyock does clock repair out of his home, about 65 miles east of Pittsburgh (20 miles north of Johnstown). He has a fairly complete clock repair shop in his basement and is a member of the Laurel Highlands Guild. Our job did not require any special parts (to my knowledge), but my impression is that he routinely handles jobs that do. Each time, we dropped off the clock and picked it up about a month later. The month delay was to fit my schedule - I don't know how quickly he can do a rush job. People who can fix these 100 year plus antiques are really hard to locate. We found Ron upon the recommendation of the architect who is helping us with a home expansion; she has had other clients who used Ron's services. We're planning to take another old clock (my son's) up there sometime before Easter.
