- l I never had a signed contract, no receipts or warrenties for any of the work performed. I have things falling apart, like one of the kitchen cabinets. when I contacted Dennis Ruddy he told me he was not resposible. I had a window that was cracked in one of the bedrooms, when I contacted him I was told I have no warrenity. I contacted the manufactor I do have a warrenity. they ordered me a window. I have a sliding door that is very hard to open and will only open 1/3 of way. I Had someone look at it and was told that it can not be fixed. the problem is the door is to big for the space. I have to get a new door but that will have to wait till spring. My ceramic flooring is awful, uneven the grout is cracking and so are some of the tile. Got an estimate for repair of 10,500.00. They forgot to put heat in my laundry room and put my pipes on an outside wall, so now my whole house water freezes in the cold. never had that problem before.I had to hire a painter after they painted. cause I could still see the drywall and their paint job was very sloppy. Every day I find another problem. I should have fired them a long time ago when they started being mean and nasty to me. If they didnt like what I was saying to them well they would just yell at me. It was awful! Looking back I cant believe I put up with all of it.
"We took this job to help this lady out. We made her house almost double in size. I should have known from the beginning when her own son said, "You guys are working for my mom? Good Luck". Lets start by saying her daughter ran the job for the first 5 months making decisions about everything as well as fixtures, lighting, kitchen design, and layout. I am not going to lie the first 5 months were pleasant working with them. The trips to Home Depot with the daughter were always rushed. Then when things started tightening up with money (after they used the money for an all expense trip to disney world) as well as buying the most expensive fixtures for the house that they could find. Things started to get out of hand. Stuff started to get changed and added on almost on a regular basis. To make a long story short. This customer was almost $12000.00 short on her bill. On top of a lot of free add ons. The lady kept trying to get us to get more money out of the insurance company for other work to be done to her property. We knew she was going to be short on her bill. I did get angry with her on several occasions cause she said I am gonna be short on paying you but then had a $6000.00 shed built and a brand new versa lock wall built on front and back of her house with new steps and a new walkway. I am not going to sit here and try to recall all the shady things that she did to us. Anybody that knows us knows our work and also knows what kind of person you are [member name removed]. Have a nice day and make Karma take its course."
