About us
Full service suburban veterinary facility offering diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental care to dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and pocket pets. Five staff veterinarians are supported by seven licensed veterinary technicians, three graduate veterinary assistants, and receptionists. Open six days a week and have evening office hours four week nights. Pets with critical medical illnesses can be diagnosed via our in-house laboratory and computerized Digital Xray suite. More extensive testing is sent to a referral laboratory which provides results typically the next day. Ultrasound, Echocardiogram, and Endoscopy services are provided by outside Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialists who come to our practice. Cancer medicine, surgery, and chemotherapy are provided by Dr. Wiles, a member of the Veterinary Cancer Society, or are referred to local veterinary oncologists. Extensive soft tissue surgeries, cancer surgeries, minor orthopedic procedures, and the routine spays and neuters are performed in our up to date surgical suite where all patients are monitored with ECG, pulse ox, blood pressure, and temperature monitors. We provide Acupuncture services and Integrative Medicine. We also maintain an Intensive Care Unit for critically ill pets.

We have been very satisfied with them. My impression is that the price is above average; on the high side. The drive there is less than 12 minutes. They are very sweet. I guess you do that business because you love dogs.

reasonably priced. The wait is usually only about 15 minutes. The vet is very caring. He follows up and stays in touch to check on the animals.

The best of the best, I asked him if he could take care of me. He is probably the finest that I've ever met in my life. They are unbelievable. He took care of my last cat, my god he did house calls. He would come at 10 o clock at night and he was feeding my cat by intervenes. He would show up, he said look meet me at my clinic. It's ten o clock at night twelve midnight it's on a Sunday, after hours. He has the bedside manner that a doctor who takes care of a doctor takes care of, he takes care of animals this way. I woke up and my cat was bleeding all over the place. I said Christa what happened to her paw. I called I said I had an emergency, he's busy as heck he said tell her to come in now, tell her to come in right now. Forget about an appointment, this is lunch time, I have an emergency he just gets on the phone and he says tell her to come in that's it. They cut me so fast and then the had to take her for days and they had to amputate one of her toes cause she had a tumor in her foot. I had no idea. I mean my cat bit it, she bit it open, I had no idea. He is unbelievable.

Great! My cat, Dandelion, was traumatized by the process of going to the vet. She went into wild cat mode--bushy tail, hissing then losing control of her bladder/bowels. When I arrived at PS&V I discovered that the appointment was for the following week. Yikes! I didn't want to put poor Dandelion through that again. I explained my cat's trauma to PS&V staff and asked if there was any way for a vet to see her now. The staff was very understanding and asked one of the vets to see Dandelion. Dr, Bernadette Santos was very sensitive to my cat's situation. Dr. Santos removed the top of the cat carrier and completed the exam and shots without moving/removing Dandelion from the carrier. Dr. Santos suggested a 3 year rabies shot to ease Dandelion's future vet visits. All went very well and I was very grateful to all the staff.

PSVC is wonderful. We are new to them this past summer - I wish we switched years ago. the entire staff is great. Their love of animals is obvious. Thank you so much to Dr. Judy who makes me feel as if we had been with them for years, also Dr. Santos. I have not met the other doctors, but obviously they are all wonderful.

They were incredibly professional, caring and lovely through the whole thing. The dog that they worked on the previous year has been there multiple times since he has to have continued blood work because he almost died. The last time we were there they were very supportive. It is a hard thing to have to go and do and they were very good about it. The price includes cremation and whatnot.

Absolutely wonderful people! My newfoundland, Puck was very sick and had to spend a full week there. They treated him with love and great medical care the whole time. Truly, they went out of ther way and were really great about letting me come to see him as well as keeping me updated about his case. Thankfully, Puck is doing well but still has to go for an occasional check up and despite the surgery and the resulting second surgery because he wasn't clotting and all they had to do medically to him he still gets excited to go visit. That's a testament to great care!!

Their price was reasonable. The vet techs have been there long probably a decade. He is very experiened and I thing he is an excellent diagnostician. The office is large and clean.

He’s phenomenal. He's the friendliest and most caring vet I've ever went to. The prices are reasonable. Everything about him is right, and his office is convenient to me. They also called to follow up after the appointment.

Dr. Wiles has been my vet for 25 years, through many pets. I 1st went to him because he had the best prices on shots. This was back in the days that if you got a pet from a shelter they expected you to take them back at 6 mos. for neutering. I was concerned that they might not do a good job and asked about it. Bear in mind, please that at that time that was pretty much all he did--spays & vacinations. But he said that if I could get my dog spayed for free at the shelter I should do it. When he moved out to Sandy Creek it became a 45 minute drive for me. No problem. I completely trust him and his staff. You can wait a while to get an appointment with Doc because he's so popular and well loved. However, if you need an appointment quickly, the other doctors are very good and extremely compassionate. I especially like Dr. Judy if I can't get in with Doc. All are very well informed and down to earth. Doc has pulled numerous solutions out of what seemed like thin air for us and when he could no longer help cried with me as we put a succession of animals down. I can't speak highly enough of him and his staff. I recommend him and his staff wholeheartedly.

I was searching for a new vet in my area (Plum) and was pleasantly surprised that this vet clinic has evening and weekend hours. I was able to get an appointment for annual vaccines for my dog with no problems. The facility was bright and clean including the waiting area. The vet provided only the services I requested for a reasonable price. It was refreshing not to be "guilted" / pressured into additional services like our last vet clinic did EVERY single time I took my dog there. I would most definitely recommend this provider.

We have been taking Moe to the Pittsburgh Spay and Vaccination Clinic since she was born (14 months), and have always been pleased with the care she has received there. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous, and projects a pleasant atmosphere for my dog. As a first time dog owner, I frequently consult them with questions/issues, with their expert advice saving me either aggravation or money. The cost of Moe's most recent spay visit was performed at a discount due to our continued service there. This was certainly pleasing to hear, especially since they did not have to do so. My many thanks go out to all of the clinic staff for taking such good care of our newest member of the family!

Dr. Wiles is always compassionate towards the pet and very thorough with the exam. He is very personable and explains everything clearly and in detail along with taking time to answer any questions. Never rushes through the appt. and seldom more than a 10 minute wait. I highly recommend him and his practice.

There aren't as many vets in the area who see rabbits, let alone have the level of expertise that Dr. Wiles does. I was greatly impressed with his attention to detail with my bunny, information provided, including feeding tips, etc. You can tell he truly cares about the health and well being of the animal and that's so important to me. I felt very comfortable leaving my bunny in his care and the care of the wonderful staff. I was promptly called after surgery with an update on how my bunny was doing. Pick up was also a breeze-- Despite being a busy time, the vet techs took the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions that I had. I couldn't be more happy with the experience and will be bringing my bunny back for annual visits.
