Took a long time, but was worth it. I play the guitar every day now.

The work was done well and the guitar sounds much better, stays in better tune and is easier to work with. Very nice job.

Fast and smooth process. I will definitely use Mannella Guitars again, in the near future. Though maybe next time, I'll try to come up with a more unusual wiring idea, just to see if I can stump them. I doubt that this will be possible though! In my opinion, if you need work done on your guitar(s), go nowhere else!

I brought in my lute, a 43 year old copy of an instrument built in 1594, which was unplayable due to a sagging of the table, on which the bridge is mounted. The diagnosis, which turned out to be correct, was that the instrument was too dry and needed rehydration, along with a reworking of the bridge and some of the frets. The work took a reasonably long time (6 months), but to be honest, I did not press them since I was more interested in having the job done properly than quickly. The instrument now plays magnificently, better than ever. My only objection, which is rather mild, is that when I called to ask about it from time to time, I was told that it would be done shortly, but that turned out not to be the case.

After replacing the string, he noticed that the bridge was too high and offered to fix it. I was happy that he noticed this and offered to fix it. He was very professional and took the time to explain about the bridge and told me it would be easier to play with it lowered and reshaped. He is very knowledgeable with musical instruments.
