Provider was very courteous and flexible and offered to accommodate my project whenever I decided to go forward.  If I decide to go forward I will re-order from this provider through Angie's List. 

In the meantime is it possible to get a refund of the $117 since the service was never performed?

Any info or assistance will be greatly appreciated.

It was a "quick and dirty" job at the right price.

The guys showed up on time and proceeded to install 2 ceiling fans.  Everything went smoothly.

They seemed knowledgable, but did not follow through as promised.

I tried on multiple occasions, with no success, to get scheduled for the service. I found someone else.

They were able to fit us in within a short window. We are adopting a baby, and wanted the new fan in before the baby arrived. They got here within 2 days and had the job done within an hour. Great personalities, wonderfully done. Will use them again.

Excellent. Responsive, quick and did a nice job.  Love that this is a family run business. :)

Overall experience was very positive. Alan was responsive and more than proactive on all fronts. Would definitely hire again for future.

Answered the phone when I called, came out for estimate two days later and job was finished the following week. Great service, very responsive. Had to run new line in the front yard, but you would never know, the grass looks great.

Extremely unprofessional

Asked to give estimate on repair work of outlets in attic. For two days he said would call me right before he came over to look at the job and give an estimate. I waited both days only to have him call at the end of the day to say he could not make it.

A. Wilkins did an excellent job. Highly competent electricians. Worked steadily, didn't dawdle. Everything works as it should, now. Most admirably, they clarified what the symptoms of dysfunctional outlets were and what they meant, and this allowed me to identify many more outlets than what I had estimated would be the number of outlets to be replaced. They didn't fuss or complain about that, they just expanded the proposed work order in a fair and reasonable fashion. Solved the problems in one visit, saving me time and eliminating danger to the house.

Got the reference from Angie's list via your concierge service and was most happy with the and quot;conciergeand quot; who worked with me on problem and with A. Wilkins

He was very responsive and showed up when he said he would. Did a fine job. This work was needed to get occupancy permit on building I had purchased. Al was much less expensive than others I got estimates from and he had also done work for friends of mine at a cost effective price and very quickly.

Spoke with Alan on Monday and he stated that he would be out the next morning at 8 am. He along with his crew were at my residence at 8:00 and went to work immediately. They worked throughout the day breaking for approx. 40 mins for lunch. They performed the work and did not leave until work was completed. I would definitely hire them again for future work. They were very knowledgeable and offered suggestions on where lighting could be placed at. They installed several recessed lights, several pendant lights over a kitchen island, ran wiring from a wall to the kitchen island and replaced wiring. They were thorough and cleaned the area prior to leaving. They kept my kitchen remodel on schedule and were honest and dependable.

He knew the neighborhood very well and had actually worked in several houses on the block. He knew how the electric in the home I was looking at compared to other homes in the area. He informed me the choices other homeowners made when facing the same decisions, so I was really confident in my choices.

They did not ground one of the switches. This is very dangerous in electrical. Things must be grounded or you could get electrocute. I tried calling them back but they are too busy to call back. I had to hire another electrician to come back and do it right. Hate to say something bad as they were nice people. But I also hate having to hire another electrician to come back and do the job right.

They were very prompt in scheduling a time for the estimate but then they
just didn't show up and never got back to me to explain why or
reschedule.

This service provider has chosen not honor deal. They said, they are no longer linked with Angie's List. I have no idea if I would use them again.

The figured out what the problem was, fixed the problem, but they also went to their car and got a light fixture to install for us, so we would have a fixture and not just a light bulb for the time being. I thought this was above and beyond the call. They were neat, clean, and did the job. I was happy to have someone good for a good price.

Alan has a big crew, and they work fast. Skill levels variable, from mostly very good to maybe not so good. Good work on the upgraded electrical service itself. Got some probably unnecessary extras bundled in with the deal. Inspector satisfied. Crew members were also working other overlapping jobs in the area, spent lots of time on the phone coordinating. Feel that they are well equipped for doing standardized tasks. Multi-tasking may interfere with their ability to concentrate on complexities of extra / unusual tasks. Had to have some of the additionals reworked. If you have a standard install / upgrade, and don't need the team's undivided attention, they do a reasonable job for a fair price.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they responded to my call since it was right before Christmas and I was a new customer. The men arrived when they said they would and did as much of the work as they could given that it was late in the work day and they also needed to obtain a special switch from another truck. Then returned the next day earlier than they had said and finished up the work promptly. The men were quite pleasant and easy to talk to about the project. They also cleaned up the work area well. I woiuld not hesitate to use them again or refer friends to them.

After buying the big deal, there was a little bit of back and forth trying to get a date for them to do the work. Mostly missed phone calls and waiting on city paperwork. Once that was done, they gave me a date and we were good to go. On the day they were doing the work, they were prompt, did very nice work and cleaned up a few weird things from the old electrical box.
Overall, I would happily use their service again.
