I called RIT Construction after experiencing unexpected plumbing issues with the sink. They came to my house in less than 24 hours to fix it. They’ve since returned to my house to assist with other repairs. They are polite, easy to work with, and complete tasks quickly and thoroughly. Very cost effective as well. I would highly recommend them to any home owner in need of repairs.

We did the job management of the remodel, but they did a great job of entering in where we needed work done. They did the tiling, converted a bath to a shower, and updated lighting.  They were very easy to work with, flexible, timely and cost effective.

The whole project went very well:
- I submitted requests to about 6 providers in the local area, all from Angies List -- RIT Construction was the only one to respond.
- Scott from RIT made an appointment to see the work I needed done; he arrived on time and submitted a proposal within 24 hours.
- We were able to set a date within about a month (not unusual when hiring good contractors - they stay busy!)
- Scott arrived ready to do the work on time. The job was challenging: the builder accidentally created a upward bowing in the floor with a mis-installed joist. It was hardly noticeable -- which the builder counted on -- but it affected the operation of the two exterior doors which were installed above it. It made the doors very difficult to open and close.
- Scott was able to remove both doors (a standard exterior door and a large french door / window combination), make adjustments to the subfloors to help flatten them (since repairing the joist problem was out of the question), repair some water damage that was caused by the builder's mistake, and re-install the doors. Now they operate perfectly!
- He cleaned as he went -- aside from some dust that was stirred up, there was no mess left behind.
- He used his time efficiently -- he worked quickly, but remained picky: if something didn't look right, he didn't hesitate to re-do it. (But that didn't happen often -- he usually got things done right the first time).
- He stayed on budget and finished on time. He listened to any concerns I had and answered all of my questions.
- We are already talking about his coming in to do some additional projects for us.

Scott and his crew worked outside in 30-degree, rainy weather to install a French drain and stabilize a basement wall. It had to be totally miserable working conditions, but they didn't complain. His crew worked on and off for a couple of months to make a large number of repairs and updates necessary to sell the house. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to have remodeling done. His prices were fair and he stood by his work such that any problems that cropped up were promptly addressed without additional charges.

2 weeks left... not only rely on him - but combination of work between contractors... he was really amazing..
