Steel City Radon

Very well. On time and at the quotes price. Good quality by the looks of the work. It is only the second day of operation at this writing.

It was awesome and easy.  Had to move fast since we only had a 40 day close on our house.  From time of call to installation was within 7 days and they did a great job.

wanted and needed to have installation before I moved into my new home...I was going through closing...the company was fair with my time and finances and they followed up with me after I took a second reading that the Radon levels had gone back to normal and below...I would use the company again in the future...if I experience the same level of care

wasnt here when the service was performed but sue has really been available the whole step of the way with phone calls whether to let me know they were there and when the work was finished and to remind me to do the testing that has to be performed on the system, so very happy with sue and steel city radon she really cares about her customers...

It went really well the fan broke and I called them they where out to fix it within a week didn't charge me anything fan still working I have had no problems with the radon system

This company was highly recommended by my realtor based on previous experience. When we bought our home in March 2013, we contracted this company to install a radon mitigation unit before we moved in. We have a two-year old son and wanted to ensure the house was safe.
The unit was never installed. They are impossible to get in touch with. They gave us a huge run-around over exposed dirt in our garage. We had to re-test our radon levels and when we tried to contact them to get the unit installed, they continued to give excuses as to why it couldn't be done. 
Our home was built in 1995. This isn't an old structure, and while the install will not be easy, they were obviously less than interested in trying. We came to this conclusion due to their lack of communication. 

Our installation was fine but the fan failed after a few months. I left 2 voicemails that were not returned. The company finally responded to an email when I told them I would get the BBB involved. The response was "threats will not help you get your fan replaced"

We bought a house that tested high for radon.  I called Steel City Radon to have a radon system installed.  Initially, I spoke with Susan over the phone and she described the system and process to me and answered all of my questions very thoroughly.  She gave me a quote for installing a radon system in an unfinished basement.  They got me on the schedule within a few weeks of my initial call.  The company was incredibly responsive and helpful over the phone. 

When they came out, Susan and Michael were amazingly effective and efficient.  They immediately identified the best place for the system and got to work installing it.  They worked for a little over 2 hours, installed the system, and completely cleaned up after themselves.  The system is almost invisible on the outside of my house.  It looks like a downspout.  On the interior, the work is very neat and unobtrusive.  The holes that were cut into the house were only as big as needed and the finished product looks fantastic.  They explained the system to me and the final price was exactly what they quoted to me initially.  I cannot speak highly enough of this company and would absolutely use them again and recommend them to a friend.
