Contractor was advised about the gas hot water not being vented. He shook it off and initially stated the vent was not in his scoop of work. I was essentially blamed for not planning the vent during the construction (I thought that's the reason for having a contractor). I requested a scheduled for the week and that request was never fulfilled until the morning of or even after workers showed up. Be sure to include in his contract, damage during construction. Many items were brought to his attention with a typical response saying, "Not in the scoop of my work."

The entire team was very experienced, knowledgeable, great attention to detail and very clean. My wife and I contacted Denis about getting a second floor modular addition put on our home. Up to that point we had a terrible experience with the modular building company and the general contractor that they recommended to us. Once we starter working with Denis the stress we were feeling disappeared quickly. Denis and his associates were excellent to work with. Working with F & M we found excellent technical work and an attention to client center quality. Denis worked with us at every step of the process as we scheduled all of the work to be done. In addition to the excellent work, Denis was great with communication - always returning calls and text messages in a timely manner and making sure that all of our questions and concerns were addressed. If you have a home project that needs to be done, I would highly recommend calling F & M and talking to Denis!

We would recommend Dennis and his crew. We had our kitchen remodeled back in March. They stayed on schedule and completed the kitchen within the time frame they said they would. They did a good job and always responded to all of our questions in a timely manner. They stayed within our budget. The crew was friendly and easy to work with.

Cuts corners, only was concerned about getting paid, would never stop out and check out the work. Only time he would stop out was to get money. Already having issues less than a year after completion.

Denis and his crew are great. They were professional and delivered exactly what they promised at the exact price we agreed to. Everyone that worked on our home was a true craftsman. Just amazing! You cannot go wrong with F and M.

F&M Custom Builders performed marvelously. the garage and front door and storm door are beautiful. It is likely I will hire them again!

We were very satisfied with the materials and workmanship provided by F & M. From day 1, they understood what we hoped to accomplish with our addition, and they took pains to make sure we were satisfied. They performed all the carpentry work on the project, including framing, ext. windows and doors, insulation, drywall, and interior trim. We recommend F & M highly.

F&M finished my basement, previously entirely unfinished. Dennis was great to work with. His quote was very competitive and other than a few additions/changes he stayed true to the original quote. His guys were all appropriately skilled for the task. The project took longer than expected which is likely standard for any contractor, but keep that in mind when doing your schedule. I would certainly recommend F&M.

I was very pleased with the entire experience. My project was completed within 2 weeks of the initial contact, which was right on schedule with other projects I was having done, (I wanted interior doors installed before new carpeting). Their estimate was great also! I highly recommend this company!

Working with Denis Fitzgerald has been a great experience. Great price, honest work and attention to detail throughout the job. We hope to get our basement refinished by him in the next couple of years.

They do some very beautiful wood work. they were also the general contractor. Yes, I would hire them again.
