Our vet is fabulously. He diagnosed our dog with an issue that we thought was age related. I also purchase flea medication and dog food as well. Our dog has going to them for 6 years. We also use them often for kennels service. They have a friendly and courteous staff.

We had a 6 pm appointment and when we got there the place was busy. I was surprised and happy when we saw the doctor about 6:05. Dr. Silverberg was very professional and talked to us about what was going on with my dogs eye. He was clear, concise and took the time to make things clear. I don't get that from many 'human' doctors. He did a through exam of the eye and some tests. Then he gave us a prescription. He stated the dog did not need surgery, that the eye was starting to heal on its own. I would not have known. He did not try to pad the bill with unneeded tests and gave us 'human' over the counter alternatives. With the tests and prescription I expected a hefty bill, but was pleased with the $89, which included the OV cost.

Over the years three of my dogs have been Dr. Silverberg's patients. He is very common-sensical and doesn't do anything unnecessary. An annual physical with senior dog tests and shots runs about $200. The techs are great do everything they can to make my dog less nervous. The give good, practical advice about keeping your pets healthy.

The appointment went very well. We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. The staff is friendly and loved our dog. Our chocolate lab was calm and content throughout the visit. The vet was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He showed me how to brush our dog's teeth and informed me about some need preventive medicines that are now widely used with dogs like mine.

It is a common sense approach and the doctor gives me time to talk to him and I don't feel rushed. He is willing to listen to my suggestions. They are also less expensive than other animal hospitals in this area.

Township Line Animal Hospital

Township Line Animal Hospital, was excellent! I can't speak highly enough, they are reasonably, and very well informed. My previous veterinarian had said my cat had cataracts, and Dr. Silverberg, picked right up on it and said it was glaucoma. He took care of it, he is on top of things. Another cat had hyperthyroidism that he had detected, and he discovered a new food to take care of the problem and it has worked wonderfully, no pills, no surgery and reasonably priced. There are no cost for recheck. He and his staff are wonderful. I have already recommended hi to others.

We used this vet with all our pets for about 10 years now and find thte service, care, and communication to be excellent.

They are excellent. They are very reasonably priced. A lot of vets will do an X-ray but they are able to look at the animal and diagnose without an X-ray. They are very honest and experienced. They also offer excellent grooming services.

The price included the boarding and the procedures. They are very convenient. We live in Merion Station and they are one of the closest kennels that board dogs around here. The vet is nice and the people who work in there are nice. We were going to another hospital which was a lot more expensive and had more state of the art care than Township Line, but Township Line fits our needs. We have never done grooming for our dog. She doesn't need it. They have clipped her nails and that's about it. They are very responsive. I made a remark that our dog is older and that her hip was hurting and when we picked her up the woman said that she gave our dog extra blankets because I had mentioned that. So I was very happy about that. You are usually right in and out. I am going to call them to book our dog back in for boarding again.

He is very thorough with his examines. He explainers everything to you. At one point we thought one of our dogs needed an X-ray. He was able to look at the dog and told us the dog's problem without having to pay for X-Ray. He said the dog needed steroids and the doctor was right on. They also offer grooming services. They do a nice job at that also. The price listed included the cost of the most recent visit including heart worm, flea and tick medicine as well as the exam.

My animals see Dr. Silverberg as their veterinarian. Even though he has been a veterinarian for many years he is not afraid to admit that he does not have an answer and take the time to do some research to find an answer. When my cat was sick he took the time to go through some of his books and looked things up and he came back and told me what he had found. He takes his time to explain things to me throughout the appointments. Everyone in the office knows that when I say that my cat is sick that I am not making things up, and they work with me to make an appointment for me to bring the cat in. They accommodate me for the appointments. They are very patient oriented.

I HAD PREVIOUSLY LOST A CAT BECAUSE WE DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE SENSITIVITY TO THE ANESTHESIA. I WAS HAPPY TO KNOW THEY OFFER SUCH A SERVICE TO PET OWNERS. THEY CHARGE A LITTLE MORE, BUT I'LL PAY IT.
