Technician came out and looked at the mold and the cabinets that needed to be removed. Was originally going to price to have to clean entire basement until I asked if they could isolate to a smaller area which he could. In conversation mentioned that you cannot tell if is black mold unless tested, but did not offer or mention that they would test first. The services were priced assuming it was black mold. The estimate was not provided when promised and I had to call for the estimate. Technician also promised to send me the name of a company that did asbestos testing. This information was not provided and I had to request twice. Received the estimate and the price was absolutely absurd. My price conclusion may not be fair since I did not obtain other estimates to compare, but I paid $150 for the evaluation and for $4,000 of potential service I expect at a minimum that the provider does was they say they will do.
