Great, prompt and meticulous

Everything went perfectly.

Another company that had been responsible for reconditioning the case of this piano had taken over the tuning as well. However, there was an irritating and significant squeaking problem with the sustaining pedal. The other company's tuner insisted, over the period of several months, that the only solution was to dismantle the entire pedal apparatus and take it into the factory for fixing. I finally called Judith Palmer, with whom I had previously been extremely happy for her tuning services, and asked her for a second opinion. She came with tool box in hand, not only did a far better job with tuning, but also disassembled, fixed and reassembled the pedals to my total joy and satisfaction. I have no hesitation in recommending her work. I am very sad to learn that she will be retiring eventually, but am sure that anyone she has chosen to take over her business will also be excellent.

The piano now works perfectly and sounds great!! Judith was able to quickly assess the problem, provide efficient on-site repair, and provide suggestions for longer-term repair if pins continue to work their way out of position. It's clear that she loves pianos and takes every repair as seriously as if it were her very first repair or very own piano. Scheduling the appointment was easy online, with response from her team within an hour. We have used Quality Piano Service since my children began piano lessons many years ago, and we will continue to use them in the future. Piano tuning is part-art, part-science, and I am very impressed with the dedication and level of service that QPS provides. They are real maestros! The price is extremely reasonable, especially considering the skill and experience that they bring.

Great. There's not much more I can add to what I said before. I call or ask for an appointment on her web page. An assistant usually emails me with a proposed appointment time, and we work it out. Judith and Jaime have both been prompt, friendly - what more can I say?

I am always pleased with the quality of service and the professional but relaxed attitude of Judith. Our piano is very old and has some major needs and Judith cares about the piano and treats it with the respect it deserves. She even took part of the piano home once because she needed to do some serious repair and wanted to make sure it was done properly. We love our old Chicago upright and Quality Piano Service is the best piano doctor.

Jaime arrived on time and was very prepared and professional. He looked at the piano and gave a very accurate time estimate, based on the condition of the piano. He was very knowledgeable and easily answered all of my questions. The price was very reasonable and I will gladly recommend him to all my associates!!

Fine. For over fifteen years Judith Palmer has taken care of my grand piano at home, and two grand pianos at the church where I work. She is knowledgeable and conscientious, and I would recommend her to anyone for piano tuning and maintenance.

Judith has worked on my pianos since the 1980's. As far as I am concerned, she is the best. She is quick to make appointments, is prompt, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Her rates are reasonable. She helped me with some research i was doing when I was doing my dissertation. I completely trust her judgement, and have recommended her to friends.

Judith was absolutely phenomenal. Her scheduling assistant (Lumaria) reached out to find good dates and worked with me to set a time. I received confirmation calls prior to the visit and she was extremely punctual. I received a detailed list of all the work that was done, recommendations for maintenance and she even repaired one of the legs of my piano because a mover had broken a piece off. Will definitely be using Judith again and for all future piano needs.

Both Judith and Jamie have tuned the pianos for the music department of our private school. They are always timely, thorough, and leave the pianos in excellent condition. I highly recommend Quality Piano Service!

Came out in the snow- was on time, took piano apart and explained proposals before starting work. Tuner was informative. Piano sounded great and would call on Quality Piano Services again.
