Italo Pavone Tile, Marble and Masonry Contractor

Oh my gosh...HIRE ITALIO!  Don't even look at any one else because he is A-MAZ-ING.  You will not be disappointed because he is one in a billion and is craftsmanship is par excellance!  He is thorough, professional, personable, funny and so enjoyable to converse with.  I sat in our kitchen and bathroom just looking at our tile after he completed it.  I coudl not stop looking at it.  His work is flawless. Our bathroom has not looked this good, EVER!  Our kitchen looks like a chef's ktichen.   His cost was resonable and his tile work exceptional.  He even needed to do a bit of repair and like the true professional he is, it was done with care. Italio is an exceptional contractor and I know we will have him back sooner than later to do some more in our kitchen. My husband is talking to him now about some pointing work that needs to be done on a chimney!  CALL NOW!  You will love him and his work.

I finally signed up with Angies list after having bad experiences with two other contractors on an insurance claim (we had a bad shower pan that would leak into the living room), one of these contractors was recommended by the insurance company.  I figured this would be a better way to go since i could read recommendations (i was right).  I called three companies.  The first got back to me and said he was booked til about April, the second came out and was professional and provided me with an estimate a few days later, and Italo came out and gave me an estimate on the spot.  Throughout this project everyone always quoted me a few days later by email, which was fine, but Italo quoted me on the SPOT!!  And his quote was a few hundred dollars cheaper!!  He came out each day at the time he gave me with the exception of one day that he called me hours ahead of time and said he wasnt feeling well so I didnt waste  my day waiting for him.  And he came out on Saturday to finish the job, which i thought contractors never do.  The job is a beautiful shower, and after not being able to use my shower stall for 7 years I now can!!  I will defintely be calling him back for some more work in the future

He did a great.He came so fast when he answered our call and  he was able to come very quickly. He has a pleasant personality and does a very good job. I know something about tiling, not as a professional but I can appreciate his work. He does very good work and I am very happy about this. We are going to rehire him for other tiling jobs when we have.

Mr. Pavone was positive, professional and punctual. He was able to correct the problem in my bathroom and installed a beautiful floor. I was so impressed with his work that I asked him to come back and tile my bathroom walls.  I plan to use Mr. Pavone again in the near future.  He is a skilled professional.

He was on time and he was professional. The price was reasonable. I would use them again.

He did a good job, however I'm not sure the cost of materials was reasonable and competitive. I wasn't pleased with the shower door. It was expensive, and we weren't really given more doors to choose from. However, he was very nice and personable.

He was professional, punctual, meticulous - a real perfectionist. He took his time and did the job right! He was neat and clean as well - no damage to the walls or surrounding molding. We have already recommended him to a friend!

The people from Italo Povone were friendly and easy to work with. They installed a very nice patterned design in ceramic tile around the tub; just as we had asked. I do not recall exactly what we paid, but theirs was the lowest estimate and was very fair.

Italo is one in a million. A rare find. What an incredible artist! This is the second tile floor Italo has done in my home. The first one he did about 5 years ago, and today it looks the EXACT same as the day he installed it. Recently, he did both the kitchen and large great room off the kitchen. His style (the type he used in my home) is not often used anymore, since it is difficult to do (correctly that is.) He "wet bed", or they call it, installed a mud floor. He takes his time, is extremely neat, honest, dependable, and truly loves what he does. I would watch him work and it was amazing. Everyone that has come to my home RAVES about the floors, and comments on what a wonderful job Italo has done. I have passed his name along to many people. I would not hire anyone else. I cannot say enough about him. The price was extremely reasonable considering the time, effort, and love that he puts into his work.
