Concrete Repair
$2,500
Robert was a nice man to work with. However, the work done was less that sub-par. The concrete was poured prior to 4 inches of snow, rebar was not used, it was poured less than 2 inches thick on most sides, and the steps leading into the house were both crooked, as well as different height levels. When requesting a refund for the work done, as it was not completed as asked, was told he would not. He left garbage all over the yard, and now we will have to pay for someone to come rip out what he did and do it correctly. Not only was it unsafe, and not meeting any code, it also was incredibly unsightly. Held water, was not draining in the proper direction, and left gaps open to the foundation which would ultimately cause issues. TERRIBLE job done. Garbage all over my yard, huge chucks of concrete that he emptied out of the back of his truck in my yard that will have to be professionally removed (he ran out of concrete half way through the job and had to go get more), and broken gas line from running it over. Also prayed the concrete all over our front door which will now need repainted. Plenty of photos provided...

Robert Yogmasi of RPY contracting has a business card that says Concrete Driveways, Walkways, Walls , and Handyman.  Telephone 412 627 1756.

This contractor has no address on the card and drives an older  black pickup truck.  This may not be the man?s real name. He will say he has no address because he is in the process of moving.  He travels with his wife(girlfriend?) and an 8 year old boy which gives the impression of a good family man..

I gave him a small job of a walkway  on one property and a partial driveway  on another to test out his work.  He broke up the concrete and took a small amount away.  He then asks for a deposit on the concrete so he can order it.  In this case maybe 4 yards.  He will leave some old rusty tools and a wheelbarrow behind and say he will get them when he is done. The rusty  toolbox was later found to be empty.  He will call a few times and delay concrete delivery and also ask if he can get another check because he is short on the security deposit on the new rental place he found.  One delay is he is in the hospital for a few days and gives his room phone,  which never answers.   After a while you realize he is not coming back, will not answer his phone, and you were swindled.

Beware of this person.  He is a scam contractor.
