Kenneth Nansteel Tile Contracting and Remodeling

He promised to do my job, I gave him 3 quarters of the money up front.  He would order the tile and be able to take 4 weeks, that was last August.  He just did the job last week and sent someone else to do the job, that was fine but I wanted him to come as he told me he would.  As it turns out he doesn’t come, it took him 8 months to do the job. As we went over the final bill he charged me a few extra things which I was fine with.  Now I am over a 600 dollar over charge, I asked if he ran into anything unseen and he said everything was fine.  I said I don’t believe I should pay any incidentals and he said he puts them in all bills to cover himself just in case and he doesn’t take it out at the end.  It doesn’t seem right, he over billed for two other things which I am fine with but I am not okay paying another 200 dollars in incidentals.  Before I pay him the balance, I think the 250 charge should come off however I am willing to pay overcharges for the other things. The work perform by the subcontractors was beautiful however.
