Started great. Got 90° done. knot fills sank. He said old putty. He returned a few weeks later with different colored putty. Still sank, but not as much. Was going to return and reputty with correct color, sand and refinish spots.
He left with the job incomplete because of a girlfriend or life issues or whatever. We paid too much at that point and now a couple months later the job is unfinished. He has not shown up nor returned phone calls. This is not how to run a business or call yourself a professional.
Also added to the job (major house remodeling) were a couple repairs of 10 year old flooring upstairs where walls were moved. No problem at first, but at last communication, he could not do that work.
We are here with boards missing upstairs and blotches, sinks and off-colored patches in the flooring downstairs.
We begged him to finish, but, as he stopped communicating, we said we would start posting the situation. So, here it is.
