We did the huge project over the winter months and received a substantial discount. Chris and Jay did excellent work building in our back porch with electric, two doors and four sliding windows with screens. They also replaced our custom back door, first story windows, front door and screen door, and built portico roofs over the front and rear doors. They subcontracted the vinyl siding, soffit and fascia, spouting, garage door and mechanism to others. All did an excellent job in workmanship and cleanup during those cold, snowy months. Our neighbors were so impressed one had Grand Opening replace some doors and another neighbor is having his home resided by them later this year. Chris was great to work with.

Grand Opening did a very good job. The workmen were very good. They cleaned up everything. Then we called them back again and had some sliding glass doors replaced. We started in August but then we were out of town, so we had it done later. He's been good and kept in touch. The doors are very well insulated all the way around. There were Anderson windows in this house. It definitely made a difference in the house itself. The house held the heat and was comfortable. I was happy with the way he handled things. They were courteous. They came in with it all over the place. They took about half a day. They replaced the sliding glass doors and I thought it was pretty fast. I think that they were definitely reasonable because we replaced a lot of windows. They're all double-paned and insulated. I would think we got our money's worth. My husband and I were both satisfied. The windows do tilt in, so we don't have that problem anymore on the second floor. Their responsiveness was very good. The owner, Chris said it would be here a certain time and to give it a couple of weeks til they got it all together. Then he called us and asked if they could come out a certain day. They actually and asked if they could come earlier than that. Both of us were going to be here, so that wasn't a problem. I told them to go ahead and start. They were very good about coming back and finishing up the next day. They picked up everything, even in the yard and driveway. Everything was picked up for us, so there was nothing unusual left around. When Chris said he would be here at 8, he was here at 8 o'clock. I would say they were very professional. This is maybe a newer company in the area. I think it's best sometimes to use workmen or companies that are local rather than any place else. We would definitely call him back to do other windows.
