This was, by far, the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Alex and his team correctly estimated the duration of the job, arrived on time every day, and worked steadily but unobtrusively the entire time. They were polite, respectful of my house and privacy, and even friendly with my children when they were around. They were cheerfully accommodating of every request I made. No matter what additional work I asked for, the answer was always "no problem," and they meant it. Follow-through has been excellent, and the work is flawless -- even on some very challenging surfaces. 
Alex and his team were meticulous with the repair work required to prep the surfaces to be painted. Previously cracked plaster is now pristine. The seams where two pieces of wood trim are joined, previously an eyesore, are now invisible. If the first effort at plaster repair wasn't 100% successful, Alex would try again until we were both satisfied with the results. (His standards were higher than mine!) It was a little bit surreal to walk around with our punch list and realize 95% of the things we'd marked had already been addressed without us mentioning it, but I'm not complaining! Their attention to detail was really impressive, and the results went above and beyond my expectations. 
I would (and will) hire European Brothers again in a heartbeat. I'm already planning to have them come out for exterior painting, tile work, and floor refinishing. If they are even half as good at these things as they are at interior paint work, I know I will be very pleased.
