We were neighbors and friends, and he said he was started a siding business and said that he had been siding his entire life. He didn't have the right tools, which he said he did. His kids were playing, screaming, or even sleeping in my driveway when he didn't need their help. He never finished the job, because after an entire summer of me having to point out things that weren't right, he quit. 3 pieces of the siding he put up have blown off. We just recently got the money that he owed us after we took him to court ($8,000 of the $15,000 we paid him). It was up to me after the court ruled in our favor, so I went to the Sheriff to make sure that we got our money. He has cameras pointed at my house now and has been harrassing me. It's a terrible situation and I would warn anyone against using him.
